    ABOUT THIS PROJECT

For the past 10 years I have been intimately involved with the Nightclub industry. As a touring DJ, I could easily get behind the velvet rope where society’s elite flock to. These are real nightclubs, not bars, or dance clubs. A nightclub does not sell alcohol, it sells sex and social status.

My project is a hybrid eBook meets documentary. Unlike traditional books which read left to right, this one also reads up and down. It’s highly interactive and the book asks questions and leads you towards the conclusion. There’s different ways you can go through the book, almost like a “choose your own adventure” story. It also allows me to interact with the viewers, and they can interact with each other as well.

The book will be available for all Apple iOS & Android devices.

The money is largely for creating the video and multimedia content, pre and post-production, and dressing it up as an Application.

It’s a new, intelligent and fun style of learning. Almost like sitting through a lecture but much more interactive and multimedia driven.

    SuperMashBros

    Supermashbros
Went to Irving Hall last night to check out the crazy sold out show of SuperMashBros with Amanda after a quick dinner in West Village. I was no prepared for what I saw… nor did I know what to expect! The venue reminded me of Circa/Docks vibe but with an old school Berkley Church atmosphere.  The party itself reminded me of Shuffle Parties in Toronto x100 in volume but minus 50 of my best friends. But thanks Yale for the invite :]

With all the young people having the time of their lives – it made me really wonder, when did we stop having fun like this?  Yale DJ’d an amazing set and everyone was having fun.  And… I met A-Trak!

I wore my Tricot AA leggings in Coral and this girl said I looked naked. Um no – that would be Killa, not me.

So here are the party pics! If you were a teenager growing up in NYC… this would have been your life.

    Elly

Elly came to visit today!  She is a 10 week old Black & Tan Dapple Dachshund puppy.  You can read her daddy’s blog here. She is basically the luckiest dog ever because her bff Jacob has her back and she is spoiled with Wall Street money!

Dachshunds make great NYC pets because they are compact with tons of personality. They are playful and love to chase. With their short legs, they were bred to hunt badgers, rabbits and other small rodents. Elly will be less than 10 lbs when full grown. She is so cute and small. I can see how it would be hard to ever say no to her!  But when she bit Jacob’s tail, he growled at her – cute or not cute, that’s not allowed. She is so mini right now, only about 3 lbs. Love her!
