    Renovate Your Life!!

The Fall Home Show is here!! My condo is as plain as… okay it’s BORING. Which is why I’m so excited for the Home Show… cause I get to see what my home could one day look like!
Renovate your LIFE. Style your LIFE. Design your LIFE.

Some of the reasons why I’m excited to go (ahem apart from the gorge men that know they’re way around a toolbox. BONUS!)
It’s the Toronto debut of Decor(k), the ULTIMATE in eco-chic! (Cork floors? I gotta see this!)
I recently got rid of most of my furniture, simply because it was getting in the way. So I can’t wait for Carmen Dragomir to teach us how to master our condo space!
To my foodies, there’s gonna be lots of food, as well as well as fun and interactive cooking demonstrations by some top chefs! (not the show… I mean dope chefs!) Ian Na and Sang Na of KOKO Share bar will be teaching us how to prepare our favorite Korean and Japanese dishes (sushi, maki, bossam & temaki and MORE)

I’ve been wanting to paint my bedroom, bathroom and living room walls for the longest time, but I’ve been having a hard time picking the right colors. Decisions, decisions, lucky for me (and you); expert Karl Lohnes will be there to give us all the tips and tricks of adding color to your home! woot woot! Make sure you bring all your decorating questions, cause Karl’s seminars will be providing attendees with solutions to all their decorating dilemmas! Yay for Karl!
OMG there’s simply too much good stuff to mention, so make sure you check out the highlights!!
    Some TICKET INFO!

    Home Show

My amazing friend Steve over at Market Place Events invited me to check out the National Home Show this year, 2 months early. I know how much work they put into this and so I had to go check it out. Trade shows and I go way back. I love trade shows, attending them, working at them, all the things you can see and not to mention all the cool people you meet. When I was there yesterday, I ran into my friend Wendy (at Maxwell), my friend Kari, my ex-boyfriend’s brother (ha ha) and of course my friend Steve. The cool thing is that there are always ‘show specials’ and tons of things to buy.

Within 2 minutes of stepping into the Home Show my mom and grandma were both captivated by this super stove cleaning product. It’s British, the demo guy was great at his job and it’s called Astonish. Here is my mom, #1 super consumer – shops without mercy and always on Visa. Hey, she’s my mom what did you expect?

Happy with her first purchase of many more to come

Icon Home Design is a Miami based company that makes outdoor furniture that are all very much my style. They are round, cute, womb like and cozy. These are some of my favorites. This one is perfect for lounging by the pool on a summer day reading a book, playing with a puppy or listening to music. I like.

Since I am a summer baby, I always try to imagine my amazing birthday party week. Something like this would be perfect for a pool side, Miami Vice themed party. Someone get this one for me!

This show is huge so make sure you have a bottle of water, some time and good company with you. While my mom and grandma were looking at teflon pans and miracle honey based moisturizers, I snuck over and checked out the new Toyota Hybrids.

and the designer spaces… This one is Ty Pennington’s kitchen (i think)

then… to my grandma’s favorite part of the show – the Dream Garden!

(more of my favorite Miami sun pods!)

I think my sister would love this…

Checking out the dream gardens, hydra landscaping and all sorts of amazingness.

My mom tells me that her friend in Shanghai has this mini waterfall in his foyer of his mansion except his was cooler because it had Koi swimming around. O_O

I think my mom knows more ballers than I ever will.

Another thing my mom was obsessed with was sharp knives. This one guy demonstrated how amazing his knives were by making this

My mom wasn’t impressed but I was!

Hey! It’s Babo from UglyDolls. Ty bought the vinyl Babo for me last year! And it’s in my living room on the TOP SHELF.

So if you have time this weekend, spend some time with the family and check out the National Home Show 🙂 On til March 1.
