OSD is happy to announce the return of it’s acclaimed footwear industry training program called SOLEcial Studies. Having previously been taught in New York at the Parsons New School of Design, and the University of Oregon as part of the Pensole Footwear Design Academy, the program eventually spun off into it’s own 8 week journey being taught at MTV’s Headquarters in New York City, and online to sneaker lovers in 5 different countries around the world.

After a long hiatus, the program is back with renewed importance and a heightened level of passion and commitment for finding the next generation of footwear industry professionals.

The curriculum is based on a mix of topics from the popular OSD Talk Show, in combination with a lesson plan created from the 6 decades of sneaker experience the Sole Doctors possess.  

The 8 week Journey begins on Tuesday, July 21st and will end on September 8th, 2015.

Class is is session once per week (Tuesdays) from 6 to 8 pm EST, but anyone in the world can still take the course and have access to the video lectures, and course materials and other resources at their convenient time.

Tuition cost are as follows:
1 Student $200
1 Student and 1 friend or relative $100 each.

At the end of the 8 week session, students receive a certificate of completion, continued access to business resources and mentors, and one of the most popular take-aways from the class by previous students.. a letter of recommendation provided to any graduate who applies for a job at a footwear related company (of any kind).
