Friday February 19th, 2010 is the date… save it one and all! The ladies behind this event have put together a fashion showcase FULL of Toronto’s rising talent with proceeds going to The Remix Project. Come out and be a part of the change, show support and show love for your city!!! Music provided by DJ Lissa Monet & hosted by Much Music VJ runner up Marlon Palmer!“Positive energy, MUSIC, FASHION & YOU!!!”Taking place @ THE COURTHOUSE NIGHTCLUB

What a weekMONDAY started with the Marc Ecko Stylus DJ Awards and I was on the Red Carpet repping the Marc Ecko Timepieces and talked to all of the talent! Here I am with the DJ of the Year DJ Wristpect – Congrats!

Dj Lissa MonetTUESDAY Crazy ‘party with Azuka’ at Atelier! What a crazy night! ILuvLola & Taj rocked the mic – it was really live, an insane party – star studded and so packed that I am now convinced that Tuesdays is the new Friday.
Lola (Formula byBella), Reese Cromwell, Yvonne KaiTHURSDAY I want to thank everyone who came out to California Dreamin’! It was exactly how I wanted it to be – colorful, fun and intimate. Extra shoutout to Ty for hooking up the music, Lola for the fab catering, Shay for running the show, Nathaniel for the photoshoot and everyone else who made the judgement call and knew that I am more imporant than the Lakers game!!! Ha ha. The photos are coming so stay tuned! But here is one for a sneak peak.
FRIDAYEvent 1: Tanzapalooza, a fundraiser is for Med Outreach – a group of Medical school students travelling to Tanzania to work with the health care needs of rural communities. The event is this upcoming Friday June 5th at Czehoski.

A fundraiser for REMIX Thursday June 11th @ Circa.
There will be an auction as well for things like Xbox 360’s, mall gift certificates and a whole heap of other stuff that I suddenly cant remember. Of course, we’ll also be partying til the break of dawn afterwards.

There will be a Remix Pic-A-Nic this Sunday June 7th @ Dufferin Grove Park from 1pm-5pm (Dufferin just south of Bloor).
There will be basketball, football, a kissing booth, a big mingle fest of sorts….you might even meet your soul mate! You can cop a ticket for Thursday’s event there too. The Pic-A-Nic is open to everyone so come roll through if you’re in the area. Make sure you come out and support, every little bit helps.
