Smell Rich Hippie
On Sunday 2 March the 86th annual Academy Awards will be rolling into town and just like everyone else Rich Hippie will be waiting with baited breath to see who will be taking to the stage with their well-prepped acceptance speech.
This year’s host is the inimitable Ellen DeGeneres. For the comedienne it will be a welcome return to the Oscars ceremony – she previously hosted the awards in 2007. Come Monday we’re expecting to see images of her dressed to the nines splashed across the world’s headlines as fashionistas eagerly look forward to analysing her outfit of choice. An Evening with Barb Stegemann @The7Virtues
It is always exciting when home grown (Canadian) talent makes it big! Barb wrote a book called the 7 Virtues on a healing journey after tragedy struck her best friend and the perfume is the product that came to fruition from this journey. The essential oils are sourced from plants from countries like Haiti and Afghanistan that are rebuilding after natural disasters or after war. Some of the ingredients include Vetiver from Haiti, Lime and Basil from Iran, Orange Blossom and Rose from Afghanistan.

@CarissaRosario Young and Fresh Perfume by Christopher Joseph Unveiling
On Thursday evening, I headed down to Yotel in midtown Manhattan to check out the launch for Carissa Rosario’s “Young and Fresh” perfume, by Christopher Joseph.
Carissa is an International Maxim, GQ, FHM and Vogue Model, Monster Energy Spokesmodel, Cover Girl…and now, a perfumista.
The event started off with a cocktail hour, with samples of the fragrance being passed around. I really like the scent. Just like the name, it was young and fresh, but still mature and sexy. In other words, you definitely won’t smell like you’ve raided a middle school girl’s perfume collection!
There were a lot of great looks in the crowd, but the guys were especially fashionable that night!
