Nougatine at Jean-Georges – New York Restaurant Week 2018

My first choices in Restaurant Week are the famous restaurants, who don’t want to check out the famous ones first? ^_^ Nougatine at Jean-Georges is the first one I put into my list. And I made it!!! It was a great experience.

I will give 4.5 stars for it, the only problem is the service is a little too slow, and they forgot our wine until we finished the first course. But the food is delicious, the view is pretty, the atmosphere is lovely. So I still give a big recommendation about Nougatine at Jean-Georges!

$26 for a two course lunch meal.

Ryan and I tried both Appetizers, but I think their menu changed.

Both are amazing!!! Very beautiful display and very very delicious taste.

Ryan and I also tried both Entrees. And the same, their menu changed.

The dishes are pretty big, we don’t have any room for dessert.

And definitely we feel full and satisfied!

    About Nougatine at Jean-Georges:

Nougatine is the more casual sister of Jean‑Georges, with a very lively bar scene at night. The restaurant attracts a mix of celebrities, socialites, and movers and shakers in the business world. Adjacent to the formal Jean‑Georges dining room, Nougatine serves the signature and seasonal dishes of Chef Jean‑Georges for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 365 days a year. The menu is more casual than that offered at Jean‑Georges but still market driven, utilizing only the freshest and finest ingredients. In addition to providing gorgeous views of Central Park, the newly renovated dining room by Thomas Juul‑Hansen features a bustling, immaculate open kitchen. Tones of brown and cream mingle to create an elegant space that is soothing by day and exciting by night. Nougatine offers a prix‑fixe lunch menu Monday through Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Hidden behind lush greenery you will find the Terrace at Jean‑Georges. This oasis features a magnificent lounge reminiscent of the most luxurious outdoor patios in the world. The Terrace offers table dining under umbrellas, with a terrific view of Central Park. Guests enjoy the menu served at Nougatine while taking in a beautiful day or evening. (The Terrace is open weather permitting.)
