After a cool day on the mountain, winter revelers can return to GSR to warm up with some hot action on the casino floor before heading to LEX Nightclub, the region’s premier nightlife experience that rivals venues found in the country’s top nightlife destinations.
    WINTER FUN
    GSR’s Home for the Holidays
    The halls of GSR have been officially decked with festive décor around the property, including more than 80 trees, indoor and outdoor holiday lights and more. Upon entry, guests will discover a gingerbread village, as well as a holiday toy train that travels through GSR’s winter wonderland complete with grandiose ornaments, festive garland and other seasonal décor, all while enjoying holiday tunes.
    The Ice Rink and The Pool.
    The Ice Rink at GSR is an 8,000 square-foot outdoor rink provides breathtaking views of the Sierra Mountains while giving guests plenty of room to skate to their heart’s content. In addition to the magnificent outdoor ice rink, guests can enjoy the year-round heated resort pool, hot tubs, fire pits and a full-service bar serving up seasonal delights and traditional favorites. The Ice Rink and The Pool at GSR will be open daily between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. through March.

    Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with a high-energy show for the whole family. Combining music, decorations and the spirit of Christmas with computer animation and projection mapping, Holiday Dreams includes awesome holographic techniques, world-class artists, acrobats and performers, and an exciting modern soundtrack.
    Brian Wilson Presents The Christmas Album Live!
    Sunday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m.
    Join the legendary Brian Wilson and special guests Al Jardin and Blondie Chapman as they perform hits from the seminal 1964 holiday classic, The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album through Wilson’s acclaimed 2005 album, What I Really Want for Christmas. A founding member of The Beach Boys, Wilson has been spreading cheer for more than five decades. Fans can expect to hear classics including, “Little Saint Nick,” “The Man with all The Toys,” and a selection of Wilson’s favorite Yuletide songs, including “Blue Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” interspersed with songs from his solo holiday album for a night of musical entertainment.
    GAMING PROMOTIONS
    12 Days of X-Mas Multiplier
    Friday, Dec. 14 through Tuesday, Dec. 25
    The holiday cheer will spread to the casino floor for the 12 Days of X-Mas Multiplier event, taking place Friday, Dec. 14 through Tuesday, Dec. 25. To activate, Club Grand members must earn 10 points and then visit the kiosk between 4 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. for the chance to win up to a 20X multiplier. Each day players earn 10 points and swipe, they will receive an additional 1X multiplier. Club Grand members must swipe and earn on consecutive days to receive the highest multiplier.
    GIVING BACK
    LEX Nightclub Ugly Sweater Party and Toy Drive
    Friday, Dec. 21 at 10 p.m.
    Get ugly for a good cause! Reno’s premier nightlife experience, LEX Nightclub, is celebrating the spirit of the season with a holiday Ugly Sweater Party and Toy Drive benefiting Toys for Tots. Whether sporting snowflake patterns or winter fauna, guests are encouraged to don their best ugly sweaters and do the jingle bell rock. Patrons who donate a new, unwrapped toy at the door will receive complimentary admission. Cover is $10.
