    Mystery Guy #6

On the F train, swagger on a hundred trillion. He rocked UGGS like nobody’s business. I absolutely adore a man with gender bending styles and the confidence to wear what he wants. Paired with a leather duffle, slouchy beanie, Ray Bans and that ‘and what’ attitude.

Wonder who he is 🙂  Would you? Could you?

    (NY) Mysterious Guy #5

I went down to Church and Murray St last week to check out some amateur bands perform. The venue was cozy and intimate and most of the people at the event knew the members of the band. I was there because I was invited by le mystery guy. As I sipped my Guinness and thought about the music industy and about life – I couldn’t help but imagine what if.  What if I was a band wife or a music groupie? What would my life be like? Travelling on a whim with my lover wherever he goes, always standing the crowd cheering and clapping. Secretly proud and in awe of his talent but also afraid and know all these girls want him. I thought about what it would be like to play a supporting role in a man’s life and not ever be center stage. I don’t think I can do it. The me I know always has a tall drink of water who is my arm candy for the red carpet. I can’t get use to it the other way around. I think then about Amber Rose and Kanye. How can she just be his girl when she has so much star power of her own? I think I will need a low key, behind the scenes guy in my life.
Back to reality, where I am just at an event at a bar… You can go see him perform in New York this week. Emanuel Gibson & The Color Green: December 23 @ Sullivan Hall-8 pm til late 214 Sullivan St btwn 3rd and Bleeker.

    (NY) Mysterious Guy #4

I was on the F train last week heading to the Pro Keds event and I saw this fine fella.  I noticed his square handkerchief in his blazer pocket, I noticed his Varvatos-esque boots and of course his fingerless gloves. But more so it was his magnetic aura that interesting people all possess.  Anyway, in my previous post about how ‘he has to match my fly‘ – I am always amused when my thoughts manifest into reality.  I got off at 2nd street and left for the event.

Then I called Joey telling her I swear I felt like he wanted to talk to me too lol. But I was too chicken. So here is the twist of Guy #4… you ready? HE WAS HEADING TO THE SAME EVENT.   So anyway needless to say, he is just as awesome as I thought. Justin Bridges, stylist and owner of Tucked LLC.
    Til the next one…

    (NY) Mysterious Guy #3

Hey Mr Volleyball player, you are just my type. You got on the A train, just as self conscious as you are hot. I know your type.  Your socks and flipflops attire tell me your such a ‘serious athlete’ and you just really don’t care. I know you are coming from your game cuz you opened your bag twice to take out the volleyball and look for stuff in your bag.

    Volleyball

You and your V-neck T and hoodie, I think we would just be perfect together. I know you are a serious guy… about certain things. You got off at Union Square but only to wait for the Brooklyn bound train. You remind me of all the athletes I’ve dated, serious, self assured yet self conscious and a Spartan body.  You and I probably see the world so differently – your focus and discipline contrast with my free spirit and whimsy could lead to the most wonderful balance. Or the most dramatic fights that Eminem and Rih sing about. Who knows…

Oh all the interesting things that happen around W4 station 🙂

    (NY) Mysterious Guy #2

This guy really is not my type but there are several things that I find really intriguing about him. I saw him on the F train last week and it was around 7pm. I am going to guess that he is an engineer or something technical.  He has a cool hair cut and an iPhone. I knew he would have an iPhone because of his low key attire yet fancy stripe socks.  He is wearing a zip-up fleece and khakis and Diesel type shoes. But the socks give away his fun and creativity he tries to hide everyday in life and work.  Of course I am only assuming.  If you were my boyfriend, you would be a great balance in my chaotic life and make sure I don’t leave the stove on, pay bills late or eat after 8pm.  And I will, for you, let you creativity shine and sing to you every day and make you laugh.  Sometimes what you want is really not in the form you think it is.  I am not going to date him. I just like making up stories about people I see on the New York Subway.
