Lavish Leathers is owned by sisters, Amber & Sienna. Raised in a family where creativity ran wild, both have vivid memories of their mom making homemade Barbie outfits or sitting down with their grandfather and watching him paint. Amber & Sienna were taught at a young age the joy of creating and sharing it with others. Through the encouragement of friends and family Lavish Leathersopened for business in March of 2015 with the hope of being able to share its handcrafted products with others. Amber & Sienna continue to create and innovate new and fabulous Lavish Leathers products and are always working on the next great accessory for their lovely LL ladies!

Dating back to ancient Incan civilizations alpaca living on the plateaus and mountains of Peru, provided a luxuriously soft fleece reserved for royalty only. Because of its versatility and uniqueness alpaca items can be worn 12 months a year. The extremely fashionable fiber can produce a tissue-weight shawl for breezy, warm summer nights or be spun into a chunky knit hat to ward off a chilly winter day.
Due to the high altitudes and harsh winters in the Andes, some of the herd does not survive each year. As a result, fur pelts are collected by the shepherds and sold to the apparel and home décor industries. Incredibly luxurious, alpaca fur can be chic and casual. It comes to us as a result of a natural-occurring event and we are able to create unique fur products that are ethically and sustainably sourced.
A portion of Herde de Ferme sales goes to benefit Green Chimneys Farm and Wildlife Center, a worldwide leader in animal-assisted therapy and educational activities for children with special needs.
Located in Brewster, New York, Green Chimneys has students ranging in age from 5 to 17 facing issues such as depression, trauma and autism-spectrum disorders. The animals play a supportive role in the form of educational and animal-assisted therapy allowing students to thrive while discovering their strengths, developing confidence and coping skills, as they care for the animals.
