MAKE UP FOR EVER UNVEILS NEW PROFESSIONAL ARTISTIC COLOR COLLECTION AT THE MAKEUP SHOW NYC

Exclusive Preview at Booth G1 May 7 – 8, 2017

Premier professional makeup artistry brand MAKE UP FOR EVER previews four products from its artistic color collection slated to launch in September at The Makeup Show NYC, May 7-‐8. In addition to premiering a selection of its highly anticipated pro relaunch, MAKE UP FOR EVER also offers discounts on some of its most esteemed core products and presents two must-‐see seminars throughout the two-‐day show.

Born backstage in response to professional makeup artists’ needs, MAKE UP FOR EVER exists to provide artists around the world with the highest quality, most trustworthy makeup imaginable. The new range of eight advanced professional products perform flawlessly to help pros achieve their best work. The artistic color collection marks the first reformulation of the brand’s artistic range, a longtime backstage and on set staple for the industry’s top makeup artists. Providing a unique opportunity for hands-‐on experience with the new products, MAKE UP FOR EVER debuts Color Ink, Color Air Brush, Color Stick, and Color Cream at Booth G1’s “play area,” offering artists the chance to test and learn with support from its Artistry and Education team.

Offering a deep dive into MAKE UP FOR EVER’s new pro products, Pro & Media Educator Nick Lujan presents a seminar on the artistic color collection at noon on Sunday, May 7th. In “An Innovation in Artistry,” Nick shares formula details and application tips from the brand that paved the way for professional makeup artists.

Valued as much for its complexion range as for its artistic range, MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Booth G1 will also feature recent additions to the iconic Ultra HD franchise, including the new Ultra HD Skin and Lip Boosters and the Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose and Pressed Powders. In his second seminar at this year’s show, Lujan will demonstrate how to get the most from MAKE UP FOR EVER’s award-‐winning complexion range in “Industry Essentials: Ultra HD” at 1PM on Monday, May 8th.

MAKE UP FOR EVER offers exclusive deals at Booth G1 for The Makeup Show attendees, including 50% off the purchase of 5 or more products from the Ultra HD and Aqua XL ranges, 5 or more Water Blend foundations, and 5 or more of Artist Acrylip and Artist Liquid Matte lip products. Additionally, attendees will receive 50% off the purchase of any Artist Shadow eye shadows and 50% off the purchase of 2 or more Flash Palettes.

The hottest lip gloss this summer

IMG_4118image1 image2206 Pop Pink – 401P Pearly Red- 104 Brown Beige

All you really want from a lip gloss is shine and colour – that lasts from day to night. Not a lot to ask for, am I right?

Make Up For Ever is always on point when it comes to hot, vibrant colours, and their staying power is pretty top-notch too. But their new Artist Plexi Gloss Lip Lacquer is a whole new ball game – the shine catches the light in all the right places. It’s got a really soft shimmer to it, not like super obnoxious glittery, and not like plastic-looking.

Here’s a play-by-play of how easy it is to get an instant shiny red lip. Just a few quick swipes and voila! 💋

5SecondsApp

The main reason it’s my official go-to gloss this summer is because it’s so versatile. Like you don’t have to use a lip liner or lipstick with this, just choose a sheer version for a subtle pop of colour or the opaque version for a bold look. With 35 shades available, I guarantee you’ll have a hard time choosing your top three.

Beauty Brand Spotlight: @MAKEUPFOREVERUS

It is hard to find a true beauty fanatic that only uses only one brand and one brand only. We all have our favorites from various brands and there are products that are so memorable, irreplaceable that makes us come back time and again. 2 summers ago, I met the founder of Make Up For Ever!  She was amazingly charming and stunning!  The personality of the brand is timeless, chic and totally professional.

Cosmo UK Beauty Amanda Chen, Founder of MUFE Dany Sanz, & Me!

If you are not familiar with Make Up For Ever, here are some of my favorites that you really must try:

1.Rouge Artist Intense #36 Intense Fuchsia

2. Eyelashes in #130 Jennifer

3. Aqualiner #8 Electric Purple

For more than 25 years, MAKE UP FOR EVER has been the go-to color brand for beauty professionals and make up enthusiasts around the world. Created by renowned Parisian makeup artist Dany Sanz, who was originally a painter and sculptor, MAKE UP FOR EVER is at the forefront of high-performance, innovative makeup with vibrant shades and truly long-lasting formulas. Sanz sought to develop an all-encompassing make up line for fashion and show-business professionals that contained every kind of product, texture and color needed to achieve any effect a makeup artist could desire.

@IamKelis Acapella

Let everything in the world inspire you!  I saw the Kelis video for Acapella while lunching with Joey and just love her makeup.

As you know, I have more makeup than a department store and I just love experimenting.

To get this look I used the Make Up For Ever Flash Palette (gold/silver), the Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in Neon Pink 75, lashes and OCC LipTar in Anime. Then I finished the look with Inglot Body Sparkle 56 all blown all over my face. If you don’t have an airbrush or a friend, put your hair dryer on cold, spray a makeup setter like Maya Water then  just blast the glitter in your face once.
