Manifesto LOVE
On Sunday, hundreds of people including myself were treated to many hours of live entertainment and other awesome activites during Manifesto’s all day “super” block-party. The weather was so nice, and the good vibes were definitely floating around as we watched Dundas Square transform into a multidisciplinary urban arts playground; featuring live performances by some of Canada’s musical legends, emerging talent, not to mention the handful of international guests. There were also tonnes of vendors, a bboy/bgirl open dance floor, lots of good food, workshops, and so much more! If you weren’t there, you totally missed out. I was bummed that I missed the First Look Cypher (heard it was awesome), but I’m glad I was able to catch the rest of the performances, cause they were dope!
Watching these artists turn plain new era snap-backs into works of art was awesome!

Event LOVE: Spirit of Dance
On Monday evening we joined Tré Armstrong at The Spoke Club to celebrate the launch of the Tre Armstrong Give Back Foundation; a not-for-profit operating foundation. Despite the on and off drizzles, tons of people gathered on The Spoke Club patio to show their support for Tre. We were treated to yummy appetizers, drinks, a Just Dance station, and some live performances.
“The foundation will focus on developing life skills through enjoyable youth programming and performing arts at the community level alongside educational classes and seminars, promoting continued learning along with the development of key life and social skills.”
Thank you so much to Tré Armstrong for inviting us!

88DOF x Bahia Watson
Ever since seeing 88 Days Of Fortune perform at Droppin’ Knowledge, I’ve been hooked. They had another event at loft 404- the ambrosia hub; featuring Bahia Watson, and it was F-AWESOME! I didn’t know who Bahia Watson was before Friday night, but after her performance; I will never ever forget her.
Thank you so much to the 88DOF family for sharing their incredible talents with us, and for treating us to another wonderful evening.
peace and love
