A New Generation of Reds @GarnierCan Olia

Garnier Olia is the very 1st oil powered permanent haircolor for maximum color performance. DSC06055

This is a real breakthrough for at home hair dye lovers like me. I am a DIY-er and I also love changing up my hair. When I receive the Olia dye kit from my friends at Garnier, I loved the packaging and concept of this product! I am no stranger to dying my hair but coming up for spring… what color would you pick?

The oil powered technology propels colorants deep into the hair, without ammonia, giving you pure, vivid, long-lasting color. Olia visibly improves and restores hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, dimensional color and softer, shinier hair with more bounce.  Unlike traditional haircolor, Garnier Olia uses an exclusive 60% oil blend with natural flower oils to achieve maximum color performance while visibly improving and restoring hair.

Glossy & Smooth Hair with #Neutrogena

I have been using Neutrogena’s Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask for the past couple of months. You’ll get a 6 oz. jar and you only need to use it once a week so it should last awhile.

I purchased this because my hair felt like it needed a pick-me-up. It was dry & I couldn’t brush through my tangles. After using this, my hair is totally moisturized & soft. I also love the fact that I don’t need to use it all the time & how it smells great.

This product will work wonders for thick hair (like mine) and also for those who color their hair or use a lot of heating products.

Bottom line (like they use on their website :)), I recommend this product!

    Trend Fire Engine Red Hair

I did this when I was in high school with Fudge hair color from Australia. I liked it for a few days but when it washed out, it wasn’t as fun.

What do you think? Would you do red?

If you want to try this at home. Bleach the hell out of your hair so it gets to about a yellow blonde – then use toner and take out all the yellow undertones so it becomes ash. Then put the red to work. There WILL be a mess in the bathroom. FYI … and all your towels will be ruined for the next 3 weeks.
This won’t work with your typical Loreal or box hair dyes.. You need to pull out the specialty dyes. Fudge Paint box and Manic Panic are the ones I recommend. You can get them at Beauty Supply and specialty stores.  Good luck!
