    New Kreayshawn

LOL… between the FIDM mention, the Spice Girls reference… what’s not to love. Can’t wait for the vid!

    @Kreayshawn aka Kreayshawn.

    1. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Well, When I was in the 2nd grade me & this girl got in trouble for telling the teacher we wanted to be strippers when we grow up.. LOL! But, as far as I can remember I always wanted to be a Host/DJ on the radio.

    2. If you had a magic lamp what would be your 3 wishes?

My first wish would be to spread understanding throughout the whole world. My second wish would be some kinda magic powers to make anything I want in my hands. My third wish would be everlasting happiness for myself.

    3. At what point will you feel that you’ve accomplished something?

When I’m dead & my funeral is selling seats.

    4. Do you fart in public?

    Silently..

    5. What was your last dream about?

My last dream was about me killing someone then using their dead body to kill someone else. Then I went back under my street tent & made songs with my producer.

    6. What does money mean to you?

Money is something that we need to get by but, I find happiness in the things I do not in the things I buy.

    7. Favorite toy as a kid?

Man anything electronic was my shit.. walkie talkies, tamagotchis, yakbaks, talking diaries, electronic planners, basically any random electronic bullshit under 20 dollars. I was on it tuff.

    LV Windows

Whoever has been on the merchandising team at LV for the past 36 months have really done a great job. First the helium balloons, then the stitching with gold threads and now the eggs. Bravo!

If you want to go to school for this FIDM has a great Visual Communications program.

    FIDM DEBUT 2010

Went down to the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica to watch a parade of talent… the FIDM Debut 2010!  I wore my Telephone inspired outfit and decided to never play it safe ever again.

It started with the showcasing of the 10 scholarship winners from Fashion Design that participated in the Guess denim competition.

    models x designers

Then the Judy Garland / Liza Minilli tribute pieces from Costume Design majors.

The show then showcased the collections rom the 10 students that were breath taking.

Dream Sequence collection from FIDM Design student Brittany My Linh Vu
    Knit Wear designer Julia Nish

I was sitting way back behind 20,000 people so sorry for the photo quality!  The thing I love about fashion, art and FIDM is that when you think everythings been done before you see new talents that blows you away.  Chase your dreams!

My favorite designer was Meghann Alaina Fanara who gave up a ballet scholarship to attend FIDM to design children apparel. She won the Karen Kain award for FIDM and had a spectacular collection and the most adorable models.

My favorite collection is the Kapasa Musonda from.. Zambia! Her passion for design, her highly detailed piece and very wearable couture made me love her collection!  She started her own line 3 years ago at the age of 17.  She has won numerous global award at home and aboard. She is a force to be reckoned with. Love you girl!

    Follow – @FIDM

As you all know, I spent the last 9 months of my life in LA going to FIDM!  The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising has 4 campus in SF, SD, OC, LA and have over 16 majors. It’s not just about sewing clothes…

This is my last week of school forever! Can you believe it?  I decided to come to FIDM to pursue my studies in Beauty Industry Marketing because I knew I would excel and love every single day of it! And I was right… I am really going to miss being a student but I won’t miss being broke ^_^  These are my last 7 days as a FIDM student but the adventures never stop!

Yojie Japanese Fondue and Sake Bar

    Japanese Fondue = Mmm…

I’m officially obsessed. I went to check out this new restaurant near FIDM called Yojie Japanese Fondue and Sake bar with a few girlfriends…it was fabulous!

If you’re a health-food maniac and need a place to feel somewhat normal, or are looking for a unique downtown experience, I highly recommend this trendy Japanese restaurant. Just blocks from LA Live, Yojie is located in the heart of Downtown LA at the corner of Olympic and Grand. (If you can’t find metered parking, I recommend parking at the lot kitty corner from the restaurant, it’s usually about $5)

The menu consists of mouthwatering starters like edamame and miso soup among other items. For the main entrée, choices include a variety of dishes consisting of uncooked meat and veggies, both of utmost quality and freshness.

By the time our food arrived, the burners at the center of our table had boiled a saucy broth for our food to prepare in, accompanied by rice, an egg and an array of sauces and spices for personalized flavor. I ordered the Vegetarian Medley from the Sukiyaki menu which was absolutely delicious, not to mention healthy. It came with a plate filled to the rim with 2 types of noodles, 2 types of mushrooms, cabbage, leeks and carrots. (I found that dipping the veggies into the egg either before or after boiling in the broth and cooking the softer veggies like the cabbage for a shorter time and harder veggies like the carrots for a longer time, works the best:)

Bottom line, the food was great, not to mention the desserts and drinks. I guess you’ll have to swing by Yojie to see for yourself. Let me know what you think!

If this hasn’t tempted you, check out the photos I took:

Waiting for our food! Check out the burners on the table! So Cool!

Food comes out on a cart!

    and here I am 🙂

Make sure ask for Vanessa or TJ when you go… and leave them a good tip!
