The rest is retail history. “It would be cynical for us to speculate that the people who helped Sonora Smart Dodd promote Father’s Day were only interested in making money,” Heraldson said. “So, we will leave that to others who are already cynical about what motivated the original supporters of Father’s Day to continue with their skepticism.”
