No More Shrinking, Fading and Stretching with Dryel

When you shop with fast fashion the way I do at Boohoo, Forever 21 and such – they usually don’t last long. It’s not so much that it goes out of style but more because they faded or lost shape quickly. The list of my laundry mishaps is long and funny.

I have been treating and washing my clothes with Dryel in the last few months and it has made a world of difference.  It even works well with denim and dark clothes too. As a former New Yorker, I am still very much into my black ensembles.

Dryel® uses a patented process to clean your dry clean only and special care clothes.

    • The heat of your dryer activates the cleaning solution in the ULTRAcleaning Cloth™ to release a steam that removes body soils and odors from the clothes.
    • The Fabric Protection Bag maintains the optimal balance of cleaning agents and heat, allowing the steam to work thoroughly through the clothes, and then slowly vents the vapors out of the bag and dryer.
    • Dryel Booster Spray includes extra cleaning agents to remove stains, and add freshness to heavily soiled areas prior to putting the garments through the in-dryer system.

Using Dryel, it seems like all our clothes last longer and retain their shape even after multiple wash cycles!

LAUNDRY DAY: USE THE ORIGINAL AT-HOME DRY CLEANER

Dryel is the best way to safely and thoroughly clean your special care clothes at home. The patented Fabric Protection Bag protects clothes and concentrates the gentle cleaning vapor from the ULTRAcleaning™ cloth for optimal cleaning performance. No fading, shrinking, or stretching like caused by wet washing or dry cleaning.

Dryel works in the convenience of your dryer in as little as 15 minutes and saves up to 90% of the cost of dry cleaning. So, when you have suits, dresses, or even jeans and sweaters that need to be cleaned, skip the hassle, expense, and harsh chemicals of the dry cleaner. Choose Dryel instead.

    Freedom with Dryel

My dad is in town to visit me! He came all the way from Hainan island and was shocked at the Las Vegas heatwave. With moderate 80’s where he lives, he came during the hottest week ever! Vegas reached record breaking 120 F! We had a full schedule and with all the running around town. Even with places blasting AC, it was still really hot.

As you all know, the ‘dad hat’ trend has been all over fashion and social media lately but I can assure you that my dad has been rocking this trend for as long as I can remember. My dad loves his hats.  We went to the Strip, I had 2 pop up shops, we went to the park, out to eat, up the mountain and lots of other places too. Being a light traveller, he only brought his favorite hat so it was in need of a good cleaning after a week of fun.

I couldn’t figure out a way to help him clean his hat with all the sweat and sun but then I remembered Dryel! Dryel saves time and gives the freedom to wear what you want, when you want to. Taking his hat to the dry cleaners what out of the question since he wanted to wear it all day everyday so I used the Dryel at home cleaner and snuck his hat away for 15 mins.

I first started with the booster spray. I was careful to avoid the suede area (Dryel is not recommended for suede). I sprayed the hat inside, outside – about 10 spritz. Then I used the Ultra Cleaning Cloth, zipped it up and threw it in the dryer for 15 mins.  The hat came out fresh and clean!

Now my dad has his favorite hat for the rest of his vacation. Check out how Dryel can save you time and give you freedom to wear what you want when you want on www.dryel.com.

Dryel 101: Housekeeping for the Modern Day Wifey

I recently celebrated my 4-year wedding anniversary and I learned so much in this time. There are no ‘guides’ on how to be a wife these days but there are certainly tips I’ll be happy to share with you, along with our friends from Dryel.  So before I was married, I only did laundry for myself and my dog Jacob. It was so easy to just throw everything in together to wash, then everything into the dryer to dry. Once I got married, I learned about laundry from my husband. With his background in fashion, great taste in clothes and a conscious budget, he taught be how to stop ‘ruining’ his stuff.

For example, here are some laundry rules I never knew before:

    1. Wash towels on their own to prevent fuzzies on your clothes
    2. Wash whites separately in warm
    3. Wash darks separately in cold
    4. Red clothes will almost always bleed in color and make white/light items pink!
    5. Zip everything up before you wash it, and tie any drawstrings
    6. Some clothes are dry clean only
    7. Some clothes are hang dry only

Now that I have the basics, I have upgraded to laundry innovators and new technologies! I was so lucky to work with Dryel last year and will continue to work with them on testing out their range of products. If you are a laundry newbie or a modern wifey like me, take note! While we lived in New York, there were dry cleaners on every corner but now that we are in Vegas, you have to drive everywhere to even see another person. Suburban life is part of growing up and as we prepare to have a family, efficiency, convenience are of the utmost importance.

Getting into my 30’s now, I want to buy some nice quality clothes and take good care of them too! I am a huge fan of fast fashion brands but once in blue moon, I will purchase something that needs me to take good care it. In comes Dryel, the at-home dry cleaning and laundry solution.  Dryel cleans 10 garments for the cost of one dry cleaned garment, and it works great on ALL YOUR CLOTHES everything from sweaters to blouses, blazers, dresses and trousers. The heat of your dryer activates the Dryel ULTRAcleaning cloth to release cleaning agent and steam that penetrate the clothing fibers. These vapors remove body soil and odors from your clothes that are then vented out of your dryer. Your clothes are left with a breezy clean scent. Dryel uses biodegradable cleaning agents and no harsh chemicals.

I started getting back into styling again and the handy on the go pen has been a lifesaver! This works even on dry clean only garments too!

    • Dryel On the Go Stain Pen helps remove fresh stains instantly
    • It’s even safe on dry clean only clothes, delicates and hand washables such as wools, silks, rayons, linens, cottons and other special care fabrics
    • While squeezing pen, use scrubber like an eraser to eliminate stain and blot if needed
    • Ultra compact, it meets TSA 3-1-1 carry-on liquid requirements

    Stain Removing Pen from Dryel

I recently discovered some new online shopping sites with amazing deals and awesome color selections. But when I am shopping, I always go for the grey or black. I really want something lilac, pink, white or even yellow for the upcoming season. Pastels are trendy right now and I want to take part!  I am really clumsy when it comes to eating, drinking sometimes and I always ruin light color clothes the 1st or 2nd time I wear it. So in order to fulfill my fashion fantasy, I had to find something quick, easy and really works.

One of the best things to have in your bag at all times is a Dryel Pen.  Dryel is a fraction of the cost of dry cleaners and this handy little pen makes me feel more secure when wearing my cute pastel outfits.

It is safe for use on virtually all fabrics. This includes most fabrics that are normally laundered, most fabrics that are typically dry-cleaned, and also a number of household fabrics, such as curtains, tablecloths, etc.
For fabrics that tend to water spot (silk and rayon), Dryel should be used only after testing in an inconspicuous area. In general, it’s always a good idea to test in an inconspicuous area before use on your fabrics.
Dryel should not be used on leather, velvet, suede, or fur. For knit sweaters with small stains, we recommend using the stain pen without scrubbing, as this may cause some of the threads in the sweater to loosen.
Can Dryel remove stains from food or make-up? How should you treat clothes with stains?
The Dryel Stain Remover pen works well on a variety of common stains such as coffee, tea, and cola. It even removes stains such as lipstick and make-up. For heavy soils, large spills and other difficult stains, professional dry cleaning may be required.

    Wear it
    ·        Wear immediately or hang up clean and fresh garments promptly to help wrinkles fall out.
