    Music eh! Peter Jackson

    Toronto MC- Peter Jackson
Peter Jackson is a Toronto-based MC, is today’s Music eh! feature. and he recently premiered his new music video for “Miss Right” featuring Sizzla Kalonji. This is the first song I’ve heard from Peter Jackson, and it’s definitely made a good impression on me. His delivery is smooth and almost hypnotic… Sizzla is always on point, so this was definitely a good collabo. I think they did an awesome job on the video, and the ending is too funny. lol

    I dig it.

Have you heard of Peter Jackson before? Any favourite tracks by him? What do you think of his new song/video?
Need more “Miss Right”? Get it on iTunes NOW.

    The Pretty Reckless

So I am currently OBSESSED with The Pretty Reckless. An edgy rock band out of New York. You may or may not have heard their single released last May “Make Me Wanna Die” from their debut album “Light Me Up.” Lead singer of the band is Taylor Momsen. YES, Jenny Humphrey from Gossip Girl. Momsen worked with a few producers before settling with current rock producer (opposed to all the other pop producers she was fixed up with.) The Interscope Records artist went through a few band members until she found the ones she is with now.

The album release in the US and around the world was accepted with mixed reviews but I happen to love it. I had no idea when I heard a few songs previously that it was Taylor Momsen doing the vocals and guitar as well. I love the edgy, heavy sound they have. Check them out if you haven’t already!

    Philly Cooking Creme

I forgot my Metrocard today and ended up walking home from Times Square. I am so glad I took 7th Ave because I got a sample of the Philadelphia Cooking Creme. Can’t wait to try it!

Not sure if it is in Canada yet but there are tons of recipe ideas available on Youtube and the Philly site already.

I found the US Commercial but I personally prefer the Australian Commercial

    “hat person”

I bought a black fedora from H&M about two years ago simply because I loved the idea of owning a fedora but not necessarily wearing it… I know, sometimes I’m weird like that.

Anyway, it didn’t take long for me to start wearing it; in fact, I think I wore it the next day, and have worn it countless times since. It’s the perfect go-to accessory when you’re in a rush, goes well with pretty much anything…well except dressy gowns and such; I would suggest a top hat for such occasions! Fedoras are also the perfect addition to your outfit on days when you want to dress down and still look cute 🙂 Best part? Both women and men can rock a fedora, you just gotta find the right one (s) 🙂

    Pearl Bailey

Fedoras and even top hats are as far as I’ll go with hats, so I’m not sure if that makes me a “hat person”. I really only own like 2 or 3 hats… that doesn’t make me a hat person can it? Does it? I’m just a girl that likes to occasionally wear a hat. However, I’m not a fitted kinda girl… some girls can definitely pull it off. So are you a “hat person?”
