The New York IMATs show was completely sold out. When I arrived on Saturday afternoon the venue was already buzzing with industry people and regular makeup junkies looking for a great deal.
The line up for Inglot was around 75 people deep and remained packed the entire time. I saw my buddies Ann and Andrew selling Freedom Palettes like hotcakes. A lot of familiar faces. Here is Liz Yu from Toronto, the owner of Yaby cosmetics…

SWAY Mag Soiree
Tanya and I were happy to be in attendance, at the SWAY Magazine Soiree, to celebrate the launch of their new Spring health issue; SWAY sante. The night was hosted by one of the funniest men on the planet, Trixxx, and Miss Divine Brown; when she sings… oh man when she sings, *le sigh*
Lots of people came out to support, you already know how that makes me feel! Real, real good to see us all supporting one another. Good vibes, what seemed to be an endless flow of food and drinks; we also got to meet and interview a couple of the artists that were performing that evening, Dr. Isaac Winston, Trixxx and Divine Brown!

I love ad’s that catch my attention and when it comes to fashion (especially couture) its becoming more and more difficult to decipher between designers when it comes to print!
I spotted this ad in the April 2011 edition of UK Vogue and immediately fell in love! I’m obsessed with intricacy and detail so the Lurex Guipure pieces like the monogram fan in this above and seen on the runway below takes me beyond excitement. The campaign is sexy, racy and daring… everything that France and Louis Vuitton should be. xo.
