Event LOVE: Greg Lauren Spring/Summer 2012 Trunk Show
Last week we went over to TNT to check out Greg Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, as well as catch a preview of the Fall/Winter 2012 collection. I had brief chat with Greg about the inspiration behind this collection, however it was cut short due to everybody wanting a piece of him. It’s all good 🙂 I saw a couple pieces that I liked, and once I viewed the collection it was time to get down to some wine sipping and socializing!! All in all, it was a good night.
Everybody wanted a piece of him, we ALL had questions lol
the one on the right is one of my faves!
This pic makes me so happy don’t know why, but i dig it.
Love running into ReeRee and Nathaniel 🙂
everybody was having a good time
DJ Lissa Monet was on the “ones and twos”
I really need to step my game up, cause these neck pieces I’ve been seeing lately are EVERYTHING!
Tika’s bag yes! Adjoa’s rocking those bright colors. Love.
I was gonna have some candy, but after witnessing some double/triple dipping and finger licking…

Event LOVE: Chivas Regal Tasting at @BenSherman1963
After the Christian Boutique cocktail reception, I made my way over to Ben Sherman on queen street for the Chivas Regal tasting event. I’d had quite a bit to drink from the previous event, so normally I wouldn’t keep drinking, never mind mix drinks, but who really says no to scotch? Good scotch as that! I said before that I’m normally afraid to drink scotch, but somehow I can’t help but have a glass or two… or three when the occasion presents itself. The cocktails were great, and they definitely helped minimize that burn that comes from drinking scotch, some like it, but it just frightens me lol.
that bottle would cause a month long hangover at least…
need that necklace in my life!
My dad pretty much only drinks scotch, and makes fun of me for drinking anything else, so at least now I can have a glass of scotch with him, and hold my own 🙂
Thank you for inviting me, excited to drink more scotch tonight!!

Trend Alert: Men’s Ties?
For me, one of my staple pieces in my wardrobe is my boyfriend blazer. It makes any outfit a touch more sophisticated. Over the past couple of years the Women’s Department has been borrowing styles from the Men’s Department, like the blazer and the boyfriend jean.
Recently, Jessica Alba was seen wearing this black sequined tie along with a collared grey sweater, capri-length printed pants, and some brightly colored cap-toe heels.
On Jessica anything would look great, but I’m not sure this trend is something the average street-walked could wear. I think it’s cute for the right special occasion but deffinetly not something that could be worn on a daily like some of the other men’s trends.
For those of you who loved the sparkly tie, I haven’t seen it around the internet or stores yet but maybe you could steal a cute one , from the Men’s Department.
What do you think about this trend and how jessica wore it?
