Sandra’s Celebrates National Chicken Month While Celebrating the Earth

The chicken brand’s Upcycle campaign focuses on sustainability.

In honor of National Chicken Month this September, Sandra‘s all natural chicken brand is highlighting its commitment to sustainability.

The chicken brand launched #UpcycleWithSandras, a unique sustainability campaign designed to encourage consumers to repurpose and reuse product packaging to reduce waste. To help with ideas, the inside of Sandra‘s packaging features different printed designs of fun, reusable items like bookmarks, thought bubbles, recipe cards, coupons and patterns that can be colored to create something new.

“We value sustainability and being good stewards of the environment,” says Marketing Manager Alicia Mort. “We’ve taken something that would normally be thrown out and given consumers options to reuse it for another purpose. Whether it’s cutting out one of the mustaches to snap a fun photo or coloring in the patterns printed inside the box, the Upcycle campaign is a way to encourage thinking ‘outside of the box’ and promote sustainability.”

In conjunction with the campaign, the company that makes Sandra‘s chicken also aims to reduce waste and build a broader sustainable culture within its operations.

“Our staff is focused on identifying long-term sustainability projects that helps the company work toward its goal of becoming a zero landfill operation,” says Mort. “Sandra‘s is doing our part by encouraging consumers to think about creative reuse of the product packaging.”

During National Chicken Month, Sandra’s is also celebrating its commitment to producing chicken products with better-for-you ingredients. The brand recently introduced its premium chicken entree line featuring antibiotic-free chicken and superfoods now in five flavor varieties: Cauliflower & Chia, Quinoa & Veggie, Kale & Pepperjack, Cordon Bleu, and Broccoli & Swiss.

Cool products for your car

You don’t have to be driving around in the newest model of a sports car to feel amazing in your ride. There are easy (and relatively cheap) upgrades that you can invest in to make any car instantly cooler.

It’s important that any modifications or add-ons you choose for your vehicle are legal and don’t cause a distraction, which could lead to a car accident. It’s much more important to be safe than to look good; however, if you ever are involved in a collision, speak to a Greenville car accident lawyer.

A license plate bottle opener
Obviously, this bottle opener that fits perfectly on your license plate shouldn’t be used for any alcohol for the driver, but it will certainly make you popular at any parking lot parties, and even allow you to open an ice-cold glass bottle of Coke on a hot day – perfection.

Car headrest pillow
If you’re someone who drives a lot, you might find that your car seat can get pretty uncomfortable. Invest in these comfortable headrest pillows for a little more support during those long road trips.

Solar-powered coaster lights
Put these handy lights into your cup holders, and when it gets dark, they’ll light up in neon color and look amazing. They’re not too bright to cause an issue, but look great when you put a bottle on top, and the light shines through.

Car mats
As standard, the mats you tend to get with a car are just standard-issue black mats that seem to show up all of the dirt, dust, and debris. There are so many other options available to buy to make your car seem a little bit fancier and show off your own personal style.

A mini air diffuser
The only thing better than a car that looks good is one that smells good too! Most car air diffusers plug into your cigarette lighter and take up about the same space as a travel mug. Choose a scent that makes you happy, and switch it up seasonally, but stay away from lavender as that will make you sleepy!

A cigarette lighter multi USB plug
Being able to charge your phone while you drive is a huge benefit, especially if you are using it for music or directions. Invest in a multiplug with several USB slots, to allow your friends to all charge their phones too.

Colorful car seat covers
Not only do the car seat covers help protect your seats from crumbs and stains, but they can also really brighten up your interiors and have your car looking brand new, even if the seats underneath are a little worn out.

An air freshener
The original car accessory – you can get air fresheners in many different scents and with designs on from your favorite sports team to TV themed ones.

So whether you’ve got a brand new ride, or you’re still driving your first beat-up truck, these accessories can really make your car cool.

Energy Driven Mask Launch w/ Healing Stones+5 Steps to Safe Covid Dating by an Ordained Minister

Rev. Gillian V Harris, M.S.P., a Metaphysical Consultant, Minister and Intention Coach who performs Conscious Decoupling Ceremonies, has developed achecklist for safe pandemic-era dating and launched ‘Energy Driven’ masks promoting conscious use of words, images, colors, precious gems and crystals as part of mask etiquette & wardrobeBelow are some more tid bits on her recent developments:

The Mask Diva:

Whether a mask is lined, filtered, has a wire nose bridge, just as important are the energy factors that play into the creation of our lives. Use thegems to accessorize your mask, lift your mood and assist in your manifestations.

Color, for instance: “Blue is communication, Self Expression, Safety… The darker the blue the more authoritative it and the more sterile it becomes. The lighter the blue, the warmer and more tranquil it becomes. There’s also green in the hue: a heart chakra color; compassion, gravity toward positivity while negativity is dissolved. The image of regal stature of royal blue is real. The stone Turquoise takes on these color qualities but also enhances the journey to self-realization, inner wisdom, exercising will-power and speaking one’s truth with grace and ease!”

LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Created a ‘Covid-19 era Coupling Agreement’ for people to use with each other to trigger quality conversation and consideration about whether sex is in the cards for them right now.
  • Launched a survey to learn how many are willing to take a chance and touch despite Covid-19.
  • List of suggestions on how to turn the tide on the growing touch deprivation happening as a result of Covid-19 and ways people are getting ahealthy amount of touch while avoiding the pandemic.
  • 5 Steps to Safe Covid-Era Dating by an Ordained Minister with a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology.

  1. Identify a covid-19 conscious person with whom you share mutual attraction
  2. Get tested for COVID if you have not done so already.
  3. Share the results of your negative testing with your partner. When you get a covid-19 test, the information is emailed to you and you can show this to them on your phone or computer.
  4. Sign The Covid-Era Coupling Agreement
  5. Revisit agreement at 30, 90 and 180 day marks.

It is possible to connect with another one and forge an alliance that allows for touchy, maskless camaraderie throughout this Covid-19 episode. Touching is mega healthy, increases immune strength AND sex is a whole other level of touch + also has massive benefits for human health emotionally, psychologically and physiologically- a necessity for health, rather than just a pleasure Touch deprivation and its effects are real. The WAY HIGH SUICIDE rate during Covid-19 is also real. The high rate of Covidaphobia to the point of needing emergency psychological assistance/hospitalized treatment and observation is also real. What if there was a way to proceed in a healthy fashion? ENTER conscious creation of small tribes.

You Need to Enjoy These Popsicles Before The Cold Days Come

No girl that I know will refuse an ice cream. We always say girls have a second stomach for desserts. I totally agree with that. Instead of paying money to get ice cream at a dessert store. Let’s make healthy and delicious popsicles at home with Addictive Wellness.

There are certain laws in nature that nobody should argue with. One of them being “Chocolate is good but DOUBLE chocolate is TWICE as good!” This is just math and nobody could argue with such basic principal.

Double Chocolate Marble Popsicle

let’s make this Double Chocolate Marble magical popsicle!

Step 1. Take 13 oz of coconut cream that was kept cold in the fridge.
Step 2. Add 1 tsp of Addictive Wellness Astragalus, 1 tsp of Addictive Wellness Pine Pollen, 1 Tbsp of Addictive Wellness Tremella Mushroom and 10 drops of stevia.

Step 3. Blend this adaptogen-fortified delicious cream on high till smooth.

Step 4. Drizzle in 1 bar of melted Addictive Wellness Beauty Chocolate.

Step 5. Gently marble the cream and spoon it all into popsicle molds.

Step 6. Once frozen, dip it into melted chocolate again and let is set.

That’s it! So easy and sinfully, deeply delicious… Don’t forget to share!

Pine Pollen & Mango Popsicles

It is not exactly a confession since who doesn’t love those sweet treats on a hot, steamy day? But I only love popsicles that are not hiding a chemical sh*t-storm. Let’s see what go into this delicious experiment.
• 3 ripe, perfect mangos
• 2 teaspoon of raw local unfiltered wildflower honey

Blended it all up, poured the smooth puree into a popsicle maker and let your freezer do the rest of the work! The decorative dips are shredded coconut, plus white and black sesame seeds.
