    The 2 Biggest Takeaways from Fashinnovation Worldwide Talks 2020

    On April 20th & 21st, Fashinnovation, hosted their first virtual Worldwide Talks 2020 event, which focused on COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on the fashion industry as it relates to us as citizens of the world. The virtual summit was generously open to the public, and approximately 35,000+ people registered to attend. During the conference, panelists, speakers, and guests shared opinions, thoughts and suggestions to address sustainability, ethics and leadership from the top-down.

    Ethical Practices: Laura Lanteri, Creative Director & Founder, LLNY Digital Agency & Adjunct Professor, Parsons School of Design shed light on ethical practices throughout the fashion value chain and the garment workers who work in hazardous conditions.

    Social Responsibility: “The industry has to change its footprint, it needs to be leaner, greener and above all fair in its corporate social responsibility,” says Kenneth Cole.
