January 22 is National Hot Sauce Day — Here are two brands to try!

Hey, spicy lovers! January 22nd is the National Hot Sauce Day. Are you going to do something for this unique holiday? Of course, a hot sauce lover like me will hunt for some nice spices forever. Here are two hot sauces I recommend – making real nice hot foods on this spicy holiday!

Kumana

http://www.kumanafoods.com/

Inspired by a beloved Venezuelan staple that is traditionally drizzled on grilled meats, sautéed veggies and sandwiches, Kumana is an avocado hot sauce that is stunningly delicious on eggs and pretty much anything you love to eat.

Crafted from veggies and fruits such as avocados, fresh onion, bell pepper, cilantro, garlic and just a splash of white vinegar, Kumana adds a punch of flavor to anything you’re eating.

Super Bowl is just around the corner, which means that besides a (hopefully!) exciting game, is a whole lot of fabulous food. Whether you’re hosting the festivities, or going to a party, make your dish stand out with new Kumana Avocado Hot Sauce. Take a twist from ordinary apps and add a fresh and vibrant drizzle of Kumana on your Super Bowl spread.

Available in three flavors:

Be Original: Truest to the Venezuelan avocado sauce that inspired the Kumana line.

Mango:  Blends in mango puree which adds a hint of sweetness. Think of mango salsa.

Hot: Takes a splash of mango and finishes it off with just the right amount of habanero heat.

Moore’s Marinades & Sauces

http://www.mooresmarinade.com/

Moore’s Marinades & Sauces are continually adding to their lineup of products, and these hot sauces are the newest addition. We can look forward to Super Bowl, and maybe just as exciting, WINGS! Wings are one of my favorite things to eat and creating them is super easy with Moore’s Sauces and Marinades. All you have to do is fry, bake or grill the wings, and then toss them with one of Moore’s delicious wing sauces—and then you’re done! One of the most crowd pleasing recipes is the Moore‘s Wing Trioa delicious blend of Creamy Ranch BuffaloBlue Cheese Buffalo and the award-winning Original Buffalo Wing Sauce, these will be sure to please your audience’s palate.

Vegetarian? No problem–try theCauliflower Hot Wings. Cauliflower and Moore’s Habanero Hot Sauce combine to make an out of this world appetizer.

Saucy isn’t your thing? Then try the dry rub Smokey Hot Wings. A dry rub combined with one ofMoore’s Hot Sauces, these wings have a smoked flavor that is truly phenomenal. But the fun doesn’t stop there – take a look at all the yummy wing recipes on the Moore’sSauces and Marinades site.

With four flavors to choose from – from a milder mustard with cayenne to the explosive habanero, there is something for everyone’s taste buds. Here’s the product line-up:

Spicy Mustard: A little tangy, a little sweet . . . perfect for when you crave that mustard taste but want the added kick. Contains mustard seed combined with chili peppers and cayenne peppers.

Jalapeno: If you love green salsa, this sauce is for you. Made with tomatillo and cilantro with just a hint of lime, this sauce pairs perfectly with Mexican dishes.

Harissa: This sauce takes the heat up a notch with its unique blend of roasted chili peppers, habanero peppers, cayenne peppers and touch of garlic. Truly a unique taste, perfect for adding the perfect amount of fire to any dish.

Habanero: For those that like their food as hot as it can get, this naturally smoky sauce made from Costa Rican habanero peppers pairs perfectly with any food.

The Oregon Trail: Journey To Willamette Valley

It’s 1848: You and your family have joined a wagon train in Independence, MO that is about to head to Willamette Valley to find your fortune in the West! Your goal is to complete the treacherous journey while keeping as much money as possible to start your new life.

In The Oregon Trail: Journey to Willamette Valley, players will place tiles to discover the trails, rivers, forts, and towns in order to move through to this new land. This scenic journey would almost be perfect if it wasn’t for the disease, starvation, drowning, rattlesnakes and other hazards that will plague you along the way.

The biggest reward would be arriving with your family, but there’s also limited space for supplies in your wagon. Soon, you’ll find yourself debating on the pros and cons of traveling in a wagon with so many people as the winters grow harsher, supplies dwindle, and the food grows scarce. As you throw your dead out of the wagon, you realize you’ll miss them… but it’s better this way.

In this competitive racing game, every wagon is for themselves. To start, you will serve as a pioneer and gather your wagon, family members, food, and a pistol. You must hunt for food along the way to help your family avoid starvation. Otherwise, their funeral expenses will deduct from your total fortune.

To undergo the wilderness and face the calamities, you must prepare wisely. During gameplay, you can take up to 3 of the following actions: move, hunt, buy, pick up hitchhikers, and sell. There are also free actions that do not count against your turn, such as crossing the river and using medicine. Therefore, you must be strategic in your decision-making.

Players continue to take turns until a wagon reaches Willamette Valley or the last trail tile is placed on the board, signaling the end of the game. Your fortune is calculated and the pioneer with the most money will prove victorious.

Hop in a wagon and race your friends to victory in The Oregon Trail: Journey to Willamette Valley! Get ready to relive your fond memories of one of the world’s most beloved computer games.

For 2 to 4 players. Available exclusively at Target.

Games Adults Play™ offers a fun experience for adults to spice up their game night! These games bring people together, inspire laughter, and promote bonding time. Check out more games at http://gamesadultsplay.com/.

Pipolino Mobile and Adjustable Food Dispenser Provides Pets with a Healthy and Natural way of Eating

Many animals have a tendency to devour their food during mealtimes. Pets that eat rapidly are more likely to face various health issues like choking, vomiting, gastrointestinal discomfort or food bloat, to name a few. Designed by a veterinarian, Pipolino’s mobile and adjustable dry food dispenser allows pets to find food as they would in nature, which promotes both physical and mental balance. Animals have the ability to roll Pipolino on the ground or in trough in order to dispense kibble slowly and chase or “hunt” for their foodPipolino provides countless benefits and helps to avoid many common problems today’s pets face such as boredom, over eating, obesity, bad digestion, physical inactivity, aggression, and the ingesting of foreign bodies.

Eating quickly is a fairly common behavior for pets. Depending on the animal, there are many reasons as to why. Take the canine for example; a dog may eat rapidly due to the competitive instinct that is often seen in the wild when wolves bring down prey. The animal that eats faster is in a better position to survive and pass along its genes. This scenario is especially seen in multi-dog householdswhere speed eating tendencies are increased due to competing with their fellow pack members.

Whether a dog is eating too quickly because he’s in competition mode or simply indulges too fast because he loves the taste of his food; not taking the time to chew larger pieces of kibble can cause them to ingest a significant amount of air. When this occurs, the food will most likely come back up by regurgitation or vomiting. After this happens a pet owner may feel uncertain if their dog or cat has received an adequate amount of nutrition during their meal time. Vomiting will also leave the animal hungry more frequently throughout the day, which can lead to a desire for more food and increased begging. Let’s face it, most pet owners are weak when it comes to those adorable begging eyes! With 80 million U.S dogs and cats at risk from obesity, it’s important that pet parents stay mindful of their pet’s meal intake and avoid overfeeding.

For over ten years, Pipolino has been the only way of feeding pets that combines all individual advantages, without the disadvantages of bowls, anti-glutton bowls, fixed and mobile food distributors. Pipolino is the only anti-glutton bowl that provides physical activity and slow enough ingestion that avoids overconsumption, satisfies the appetite and improves digestionIn fact, Pipolino is taught in French Veterinary Schools for the prevention and treatment of excess weight and digestive disorders, as well as behavioral diseases such as bulimia, obesity, dirtiness, aggressiveness, depression, inactivity.

Additional Features of Pipolino Include

• Fits all brands (Royal Canin, Hills, Friskies, Frolic, Proplan, etc.), sizes and shapes of croquettes, pellets, or any other dry food.
• Contains a quantity of pellets allowing to feed one or many animals (depending on the choice of the model) during a meal, for one day, or for a weekend.
• Enables to modify, by simple adjustment, the ease of distribution of food, which trains the animal gradually and gently to eat slowly.
• Designed so that all the croquettes coming out are immediately eaten, don’t scatter on the floor, don’t get crushed and don’t collect dust on the ground.
• It has been designed in order to not roll under the furniture where the animal would not be able to recover it.
• Made of shocks-resistant, recyclable, food-grade quality materials, which ensure a very good conservation of the inner food.

Retailing for $24.90, Pipolino is affordable to all budgets. Pet families utilizing Pipolino daily will have great peace of mind knowing that they are investing in their pet’s mental and physical health, as well as save money spent on pet food thanks to its decreased food consumption featuresPipolino offers a two year (parts and labor) guarantee for any defect or component breakage under normal conditions of use.

The American Kennel Club is excited to officially announce that the AKC Museum of the Dog will make its return to New York City in February, 2019. Fine art and technology meet in NYC’s only Museum dedicated to dogs, which houses one of the world’s largest collections of canine fine art

New York, NY- The American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog will officially open its doors in New York City on Friday February 8, 2019, at its new location, 101 Park Ave, just steps away from Grand Central Station. The Museum houses one of the world’s largest collections of canine fine art.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, the newly designed space will house art from famous dog artists such as Sir Edwin Landseer, Maud Earl, Arthur Wardle and many more. It also has a two-story glass vitrine that encases rare porcelains and bronzes, in addition to a library where users can learn about their favorite breeds. The Museum’s first exhibition will be entitled “For the Love of All Things Dog” and combines select works from the AKC’s own collection and that of the Museum.

Throughout the Museum, visitors will experience exhibits that bridge the digital and physical elements of the Museum and bring new life to the collection. Spanning two floors with a double height atrium space at the stair, the gallery includes interactive exhibits such as a “Find Your Match” kiosk that takes your photo, aligning its likeness with an AKC-registered dog breed. Additionally, there is a “Meet the Breeds®” touchscreen table that allows visitors to explore breeds’ features, traits, history and representations in the collection. There are several other digital experiences that bring audiences into the history of the Museum and its mission.

“It is exciting to bring this collection back to New York City,” says Alan Fausel, Executive Director, American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog. “This Museum is a beautiful ode to man’s best friend and we are thrilled to bring these pieces and exhibitions to new audiences.”

The Museum will also have an app where users can interact with the exhibits with “Arty” a virtual dog/tour guide throughout the Museum. It creates a new user experience for kids and kids at heart.

The AKC Museum of the Dog, founded in 1982, was originally housed in The New York Life Building located at 51 Madison Avenue as part of the AKC Headquarters. In 1987, the Museum was moved to West St. Louis County, MO. The AKC was instrumental in founding the Museum and believes in its mission to protect and to share the amazing works of art donated by participants in the dog sport over the last 35 years. The new Museum will be housed at the Kalikow Building at 101 Park Ave.
