Be Thrilled for the New York Comedy Festival

Looking for events happening in the upcoming November? Here is one festival you cannot miss.
As the country’s largest comedy festival to date, the NYCF will be featuring a variety of eclectic standup performances from over 200 of the biggest names in comedy, including Tracy Morgan, Bill Burr, and Queer Eye’s Jonathon Van Ness and Antoni Porowski.
Expanding to seven days this year, the NYCF will present 170+ shows at New York City’s most prestigious venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, among others.

Bill developed a comedic style of uninformed logic that has made him a regular with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon. In 2018, Bill is touring internationally, he will be seen in the film, The Front Runner, starring Hugh Jackman and later this year, the third season of Bill’s hit animated Netflix series, F Is For Family, will premiere featuring Bill, Laura Dern and Justin Long as the Murphy family.bill burr
Catherine Cohen: The Twist?… She’s Gorgeous
Thursday, November 8 at 11:30PM – Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater
A show about living, laughing, loving, and losing your debit card five times in one year. Through original songs, standup, and character comedy, Catherine (with the help of Henry Koperski on the keys) will explore the ups and downs of life as an immortal millennial who is tragically unverified on Twitter.

Now in its fifteenth year, the New York Comedy Festival is produced by Carolines on Broadway in association with TBS. The festival has featured the country’s top comedians, including Judd Apatow, Hannibal Buress, Bill Burr, Margaret Cho, Billy Crystal, Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Kathy Griffin, Kevin Hart, John Leguizamo, Norm Macdonald, Bill Maher, Tig Notaro, Nick Offerman, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, and Wanda Sykes, to name a few. In 2007, the festival launched the “Stand Up for Heroes” event to benefit The Bob Woodruff Foundation, which has featured performances by Stephen Colbert, Ricky Gervais, John Mayer, Seth Meyers, John Mulaney, Trevor, Noah, John Oliver, Conan O’Brien, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ray Romano, Jerry Seinfeld, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, and Robin Williams, among others.
