Herde de Ferme is a collection of modern, luxury accessories and home décor utilizing alpaca fleece. This incredibly versatile, organic and sustainable natural fiber, handcrafted in the mountains of Peru, is known for its fashionable style paired with unparalleled function.
Founders Dee DelBello and the late Al DelBello shared a great love for animals. Together, they adopted many pets, which today include dogs, peacocks, chickens, guinea hens, llama and alpaca on their farm in New York state. “Herde de Ferme” (farm herd) is an extension of their dream. With the team: Mauro Adornetto, Peggy and Michael Lichtenstein, Karen Pinto and Dan Viteri, Herde de Ferme has a “Designed in New York and Made-in- Peru” collection of beautiful accessories for you and your home.

Handbags: BEST PAL
Just right for every occasion, this fur handbag will indeed become your best friend.
Dating back to ancient Incan civilizations alpaca living on the plateaus and mountains of Peru, provided a luxuriously soft fleece reserved for royalty only. Because of its versatility and uniqueness alpaca items can be worn 12 months a year. The extremely fashionable fiber can produce a tissue-weight shawl for breezy, warm summer nights or be spun into a chunky knit hat to ward off a chilly winter day.
Due to the high altitudes and harsh winters in the Andes, some of the herd does not survive each year. As a result, fur pelts are collected by the shepherds and sold to the apparel and home décor industries. Incredibly luxurious, alpaca fur can be chic and casual. It comes to us as a result of a natural-occurring event and we are able to create unique fur products that are ethically and sustainably sourced.
