People are searching for alternative period care options! See below for exactly how Saalt will rule the feminine care industry!

    • Reusable: Lasting up to 10 YEARS, the Saalt cuptruly allows women to spend less and waste less. With 20 billion (yes, that’s billion with a “b”) menstruation products discarded each year, Mother Nature and your wallet will be singing your praises!
    • Reliable: Wear your cup up to 12 hours! Whether you’re running a marathon, in all-day meetings, stuck on an international flight or just vegging on the couch, know you and your undies are in good hands.
    • Safe: Made of 100% medical grade silicone, Saaltmaintains natural pH, is hypoallergenic, chemical and odor free. No latex. No BPA. Two thumbs up for clean and nature self-care!
    • Fit: Soft and comfortable, Saalt is created to mold to your own personal shape. With a smooth upper rim and slim, flexible stem, the cup doesn’t put up a fight going in, or coming out.

Two Sizes To Rule Them All: Saalt comes in two sizes;  Small for light to normal flow and Regular, for normal to heavy flow. Lightbulb Moment! Many people use both cups during their cycles, the Small for those days that you’re mockingly laughing in Aunt Flo’s face, the Regular for those days that resemble an 18th century sword fight. But it’s up to you – your period, your prerogative.

    Saalt story:
We are Cherie and Amber, founders of Saalt.

Cherie was talking with family in Venezuela who had gone for months without staple hygiene items. Cherie has an insatiable penchant for the practical, and felt strongly about empowering women to take care of themselves. Three months later, Cherie was sourcing reusable menstrual products for hundreds of friends, just to be nice. She would catch Amber before leaving on road trips to neighboring states and send garbage bags full of supplies to deliver. (These kinds of things are Cherie’s idea of a hobby. Not joking).

Cherie started asking for custom changes to her orders, and naturally wanted to create the perfect menstrual cup. Amber encouraged Cherie to combine her two passions—better period-care and empowerment for people who are marginalized because of their periods and circumstances. Amber, who had sold her own business (a chocolate shop) a couple years earlier, figured it was pretty much the most natural progression possible to go from selling chocolate to period care. So she and Cherie joined to start Saalt.

We called it Saalt because it is symbolic of a basic, essential element. Periods too are a basic and essential part of human life. We believed the best approach to period care should be just as distinct, simple, and elemental.

We created Saalt with the simple goal to give women an option to care for themselves and others in a better way.
