3 DIY Pumpkin Spice Beauty Recipes
Do you love the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte so much that you wish you could bathe in it? Well, with these DIY beauty treatments, you can. Below are recipes for a Moisturizing Pumpkin Epsom Salt Scrub, Pumpkin Spice Bath Bomb, and Pumpkin Spice Coffee Body Scrub. The moisturizing scrub recipe comes directly from Carmen, a model from TRUE Model Management. Check them all out below:

“This exfoliator is my DIY go-to. This recipe is super quick and easy to make, and great for exfoliating and moisturizing your legs at the same time! It smells great and gets you into the spirit of the new fall season.” – Carmen, a model with TRUE Model Management
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- ½ cup of pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
DIRECTIONS:
- Mix the Epsom salt and pumpkin puree into a bowl until completely combined.
- Stir in the pumpkin pie spice until blended.
- If the scrub looks a little loose or runny, add more Epsom salt into the mixture until it has a thick, paste-like consistency.
- Apply the scrub in circular motions and let the mixture stand for one minute before rinsing with warmwater.
Pumpkin Spice Bath Bomb
INGREDIENTS:
- ½ cup baking soda
- ¼ cup corn starch
- ¼ cup citric acid
- ¼ cup Epsom salt
- 1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tbsp. water
- ¼ tsp essential oil
- ½ tbsp. coconut oil, melted
- Orange food coloring
- 2 plastic ornaments or spheres
DIRECTIONS:
- Add the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and stir until combined. (Baking soda, corn starch, citric acid, Epsom salt, pumpkin pie spice.)
- In a separate, smaller bowl, add all the wet ingredients and stir until combined. (Water, essential oil, coconut oil, food coloring.)
- Slowly, add the wet ingredients to the dry ones, but only a little at a time. Stir between pours to prevent the wet and dry ingredients from reacting or fizzing. (This wouldn’t pose a risk, but you want to save that fizzing for when you drop it into your bath.)
- Once all of the wet and dry ingredients are mixed together, it should have the consistency of wet sand. If it doesn’t look like it’s sticking, stir in ½ tsp of water at a time until you can press it between your fingers and it holds together.
- Pack each half of the ornament with the bath bomb mixture. Make sure each half is filled to the top. Then press the two ornament halves together and set aside. Do the same thing with the second ornament.
- Place both ornaments in the refrigerator overnight.
- The next day, slowly open each ornament and remove the top and bottom halves.
- Place in your next bath and enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Coffee Body Scrub
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 1 cup freshly ground coffee
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- ½ cup coconut oil
DIRECTIONS:
- Mix the Epsom salt, coffee grounds, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl, then add the coconut oil and stir thoroughly until you have a paste.
- Get in the shower, wet your skin and turn off the water. Use the palm of each hand to vigorously scrub your body, from neck to feet, for several minutes.
- Rinse your body and enjoy your glow. Your skin should feel smooth and lifted.
