Manhattan By Sail Launches Culinary Sail Program for Summer 2016 Haute- cuisine hits the high seas for four exciting NEW sails

New York, NY (August) Manhattan By Sail, New York’s premier sailing company, has teamed up with several of Manhattan’s hottest restaurants to provide a unique dining experience on the harbor.  From July to September, Manhattan By Sail will feature customized, one night only menus curated by the teams behind DanteDelicatessen,and  The Meatball Shop .

The Clipper City, a 158-foot schooner, will circle the southern tip of Manhattan, providing a breath-taking sunset background for each meal. The ticket price includes a two-hour sail and a specialized menu. The summer dinner series schedule is the following:

  • July 11th, Exploring the Italian Riviera with Dante
  • August 22nd, Delicatessenand the Best of American Seafood
  • August 29th, Have a Ball with The Meatball Shop
  • September 12thDantereturns for another successful night

The Clipper City departs at 7pm at Battery, Slip 2 and sails around Governors Island, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty.

The topsail schooner Clipper City, is a 158-foot long sailboat with masts and rigging reaching up 120 feet from the deck.
