Just in time for the New Year, California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) in Las Vegas – both the Fashion Show and Town Square locations – are officially unveiling a new menu and new look!  This is one of the first locations in the county to get the “Next Chapter” makeover taking place at 80 CPK locations nationwide in 2016.  I was so excited to visit CPK at Town Square with my husband and see their new reimagined menu.  We haven’t been to CPK since New York at least 2 years ago and want to see the new menu items, plus our long time favorites.   We ended up ordering Spinach Artichoke Dip (just ok), the Original Hand Tossed Pizza with pepperoni and black olive (Awesome) and the Farmer’s Market soup (Amazing) + I had the Coconut Blossom cocktail (yummy).

Some of the highlights of the new design and menu include:

• Sustainable materials, rustic décor, fabrics from recycled materials and a natural herb garden.
•  A menu showcasing seasonal dishes, locally sourced ingredients and globally inspired flavors. New dishes include fire-grilled rib-eye and roasted halibut baked in the open-hearth oven.

Along with a modern and inviting new look, the Fashion Show Mall restaurant is among the first in the country to feature CPK’s “Next Chapter” menu and dining experience, gradually rolling out to CPK locations across the country.

Globally inspired flavors, from small plates to mains

The adventurous new menu includes CPK’s signature hand-tossed pizza favorites like the iconic Original BBQ Chicken Pizza with inventive new options in appetizers, salads, sides and seasonal dishes, like the Brussels + BaconFlatbread, with sweet caramelized onions, Nueske’s Applewood-smoked bacon, creamy goat cheese, Romano and cracked black pepper atop hand-stretched dough, cooked in the open-hearth oven. New main plates include a Fire-GrilledRibeye with Pinot Noir sea salt and topped with creamy bleu cheese butter, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and lemon-garlic arugula salad; as well as Hearth-Roasted Halibut, wild caught from Alaska and roasted on a cedar plank with butternut squash farro, grilled asparagus and baby kale. Unique & spirited hand-crafted cocktails

CPK Fashion Show Mall will also feature a creative new menu of hand-crafted cocktails highlighting premium alcohols and fresh juices, purees and herbs. Creative new cocktails include the refreshing Blueberry Ginger Smash, citrusy California Crush, and the California Roots, with fresh avocado and a fennel salt rim, among many others.

Picking up the pace with new Lunch Duos

For a quick and satisfying lunch, CPK is introducing Lunch Duos, where guests can pair lunch-sized versions of a favorite pizza or sandwich and a soup or salad. Lunch Duos give guests a great value, with more than 80 fresh, made-to-order options to mix, match and enjoy in the middle of their time-challenged days.

Modern, rustic design with a focus on sustainable materials

Sustainable materials are a guiding factor in the Next Chapter design. The warm, rustic décor features oak floors, tabletops and chairs made from reclaimed wood, stone countertops, fabrics and décor made from recycled materials, a natural herb garden and artwork that celebrates local landmarks in Las Vegas. The centerpiece of CPK Fashion Show Mall is the open kitchen, where guests can watch menu items prepared from scratch and artisan pizzas hand-tossed in the air before baking in the open-hearth oven.

The New CPK menu encourages diners to seek unique and seasonal flavor combinations with a Menu Adventure Guarantee: if a guest tries a new dish and is not satisfied, it will be replaced with his or her favorite item from the CPK menu.
