I took the plunge and decided to try ProfilePRO for myself seeing as my curly hair has been needing a little extra help due to the changing seasons.
The survey asked a ton of questions from how the moisture level of your hair to how it behaves (fizz ball, over here!). It took a couple of weeks for me to receive the products since it’s formulated to my specific hair needs, behavior and customization. When I finally got the package in the mail I was pleasantly surprised!
The packaging it great and so cute! They put my name on the bottles. You can’t get anymore personal than that. And the scent, I asked for coconut, was heavenly. I can’t stop sniffing my hair!
And talking about my hair…
My curls felt so good! They’re shiny and bouncy and full of life! I wanted to straighten my curls and see the difference two days after washing, but I just loved the way my curls were behaving. Yes, behaving! (I was enjoying them too much and forgot the selfies– whoops!)
I finally got around to straightening my hair and it’s just so good. It’s SUPER shiny, light and holds styling. This is a big deal for me—usually when I straighten my hair it doesn’t actually straighten 100%. It’s wavy. With ProfilePRO, it was straight! But even better? It’s strong enough to hold a style all day long.
The night of the second day I decided to try something a bit different. I wrapped my hair up in pin-curls since I already used my straightener and I wanted to avoid using a heating tool again.
This morning I woke up with GORGEOUS pin curls for the first time in my life! I feel so empowered. I am so grateful that this product exists.
