Krigler‘s history spans five generations and reaches from St. Petersburg to Berlin and Paris, from the French Riviera to New York. The Krigler family first operated a small retail venue within the Plaza from 1931 to 1970s and after a period of dormancy, the company reopened in 2000 and returned to the Plaza in 2008.

With such a rich emphasis on legacy, archival fragrance recipes and famous clientele, Krigler is a brand that can not be ignored even if you tried. I received samples of two of their wonderfully chic perfumes with hints of orange blossom in each.

Juicy Jasmine 30 combines the charm of the purest jasmine flowers with the fruity tang of orange blossom. The scent is sparkling and spontaneous. An exquisite floral blend of hyacinth, lily of the valley, ylang and gaiac wood. When I opened the packaging, I was in love. The perfect fun and fresh scent that clings to your skin all day, leaving a light airy, zesty trail. This is the smell of girlish flirty, fun. Because of the perfumes spontaneous nature, wearing this made me feel like I could go from a serious, mature lady to a  flirty coquette. I’d wear this on an extra special night out with the girls ~

Dolce Tuberose 43 is described as “A dream of romance never greater! Beautiful promenade on the Italian Riviera passing Portofino and San Remo. The sweet scent of Tuberose mingles with warm Rose Wood and exotic Ylang-Ylang for a romantic and dreamlike feel, while captivating Geranium and classic Vanilla combine with zesty orange blossom for a smooth, delectable finish”. Such a beautiful panorama to envision with a whiff of this delicate, but strong scent. Add a ray of setting sunlight on a summer evening to the painting and you have simple, sophisticated perfection. Mature and classy, yet bright and vibrant. I’ll be needing this for those days I want to channel my inner Miranda Priestly.

Soap and Paper Factory is a New York based brand that creates all natural, beautifully scented, handmade products wrapped in exquisite, earth friendly packages. Each pattern and fragrance are created together. They chose boxes and tubes made from recycled materials to hold their products, they do not test on animals, and all their products are free of petroleum, parabens, and phthalates.

From S&P, I received the beautifully wrapped Neroli Shea Butter Soap Bar. This gorgeous bar is enormous! Like a brick in the palm of my hand. The paper it’s packaged in is beautiful and vibrant with a small wax seal embellished with the S&P logo. I adore it~  The scent– to die for! Orange Blossom, Orange water and Citrus. All natural, all beautiful. This artisanal shea butter soap isn’t like your run of mill bar. While it doesn’t lather up like most bars, it leaves a trail of delicate light suds as it cleanses and moisturizes.
My skin felt so soft and subtle after the first couple of uses, I didn’t need to use any body lotion afterwards. I was taking small sniffs of myself all night after my bedtime bath!
