ZigiNY has been a favorite brand of mine for a LONG time. Since 2001 I knew of this brand from the store ICON at Eaton Center and R2W and Scarborough Town Center. Now that I am living in NYC – I was so lucky to attend their Press Preview yesterday!

Here’s a suggestion…
We all have them…guilty pleasures that is. The back and forth, “should I or shouldn’t I?” The conscious decision to give into temptation or the will power to hold off. But why suffer the dilemma? Why do such pleasurable encounters give us such…”guilt” in the first place?
On March 29 from 8:30pm until midnight, Social Exposure Media will push the boundaries and pull back the curtains to reveal the first ever “Guilty Pleasure Party” at NYC’s Museum of Sex (233 5th Avenue).
The Museum of Sex is currently exhibiting “F*CK ART” and “Universe of Desire” which will be open to Guilty Pleasure Party patrons.
“Universe of Desire” explores how we achieve our wildest fantasies through the digital age in a modern society, and “F*CK ART” is a provocative collection meant to challenge comfort zones.
All five floors of the museum will be open for exploration.
The party will include sex toys, mini-makeovers, a chocolate reception, lessons from famous dominatrices, naughty fashion, and a burlesque show. And let’s not forget the gift bags, which will be sponsored by California Exotics, SLIQUID, Love Honey, Pop Chips and 150 PASTEASE by SkinParty.com.
Cost is $20 at the door.

Street Haven at the Crossroads
03/29/12 – Mark your calendar! Come and support Street Haven at the Crossroads! This is such an important event to be aware of & support.
*1 emergency shelter, 2-year addiction after-care program, 33 living in supportive housing, 6000 women supported annually*
The numbers are undeniably huge and prove the impact that Street Haven at the Crossroads has on women that are in need in this city. Street Haven at the Crossroads is unique, in that it is a multi-program agency including medical services, addiction services, a learning centre and recreational activities that support homeless women in downtown Toronto. The impact that Street Haven could have moving forward if Toronto’s dwellers become aware of this dedication and support is unfathomable.
The Gala of Light – is an evening with a goal to raise awareness and funds for a charity that is serving our own city with impressive and high impact. Hosted by television personality, Sarah Taylor, the first annual Gala of Light will feature a silent auction accompanied by delicious appetizers, a cocktail reception and live music by DJ Lissa Monet and Ysovani. Among the many featured, the auction items include a weekend stay at The Thompson Hotel NYC, Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection Jewelry, a TNT Gift Card, and a signed Toronto Maple Leaf jersey and more. The evening will be joined by many of Toronto’s top tier media and movers and shakers.
