    (T.O) My New Year’s Resolution for 2011

#1 Stop being a LAZY ACTOR!

After graduating from Theatre school over 3 yrs ago, I’ve been working steadily in my field. Whether it was workshopping a play, doing a fringe/summerworks show, teaching workshops or touring, I was working. I am very grateful for that, believe me I am. I’ve been able to survive in this industry and pay my bills with the help of a Joe job of course. I know a lot of people who graduate theatre school and end up switching fields, because it was hard to make a living or they couldn’t find work.
So your probably thinking “how are you being lazy, if you’ve been working?” Well, I’ve been working steadily for 3yrs with the same theatre company. I don’t have an agent. I haven’t submitted myself for other work, with other theatre companies. I’ve been sitting in a place of comfort for a while now and I’m at the point in my life/career where I want more! I need a change. I need to get an agent. I need to get my face out there. With the encouragement of the people around me, I have decided to make that change. To leave the known and venture out into the unknown.
    Things to do:
    1) Get an agent! For the new year I will be submitting a package to every single reputable agent I can think of or find
    2) I need to find new monologues for my repertoire and submit myself to as much general auditions as I can.
    3) If I can afford it, get new headshots
    4) I need to get more on camera experience, which means classes
    5) Read more plays
2011 IS MY YEAR!!! I CAN FEEL IT!
    I’ll keep you guys updated.
    Tash xo

    (T.O) Resolutions

The holiday season is complete and now it’s time to really reflect on yourself and how to make yourself better for next year. This year I know I grew up a lot and went through alot of roller coaster rides. Break ups and make ups and a lot of drama with friends, I ended up staying to the side and just spending the holiday season with the people that mean the most to me- my family. I know that sounds corny and what not, but I had one of the funnest holiday seasons ever. Next year I plan to bring even more bad girl swag to everything, and plan to be the best person I can be. I want to read, write, learn, and smile every single day. Yes it might sound corny, but maybe I’m a corny person. There is no reason or no one that is putting me back in these goals (anymore) and I’m glad. Who knows what this specifically means, but I know it will be a fun year.

    My resolutions are:
    – get back into school… (study!!)
    – workout more!!!
    – read! read! read!
    – turn negativity into positivity
    – and save! save! save!

2011 is coming and I’m ready (and cannot wait).

what are your goals/plans for the next year???

    (TO) Lincoln Rising Event

In the prime of his life and promising career as an actor, personal trainer and martial artist; Lincoln J. Russell learned that he was about to face a physical challenge unlike any he had encountered before. Today, this multi-diciplined artist is fighting an uphill battle for mobility and physical independence.
Lincoln was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). The effects of CIDP on the body is devastating.
CIDP strips the cells of their protective Myelin sheath, which results in extreme pain, loss of nerve sensation and finally loss of physical independence. Lincoln is fiercely committed to regaining his Physical mobility and independence and although the recovery process is difficult, with rehabilitation it will happen. Lincoln continues to break down physical barriers with his hard work and perseverance, resulting in a string of rehabilitative successes and accomplishments that combine to push him further.

    What’s My Name – UK

X-Factor, a UK singing talent search brought by ‘Idol’s Simon Cowell, is coming to North America!!! I’ve been a fan for the past 2 years since Alexandra Burke won the season, but (since coming home) I’ve been catching up on this year’s winner, Matt Cardle, and in doing so I found Ms. Rhi Rhi’s performance on the finale… here she is! xo
