Come Up To My Room!

I looooooooove!
I’m so excited about going up to the Gladstone Hotel to check out this year’s CUTMR!

Come Up To My Room or CUTMR is the Gladstone’s Hotel annual alternative design event in which they invite artists and designers to exhibit some of the genius work that comes out of their heads! (the images are some of the best of previous CUTMRs)

“Coming together in dialogue and collaboration, participants are limited only by their imagination”, and because the imagination has no limit, CUTMR has quickly began one of Toronto’s most exciting Design Shows!
All the love letters I never sent you… I was just thinking how i’d rather paste tonnes of inspirational whatevers on wall, versus just a different shade of paint… blah!
Did you know: This awesome four-day event is in it’s SEVENTH year at the Gladstone Hotel, featuring 11 room and 14 public space installations, with over 50 designers!
I’ll be passing through a couple times so make sure you say hello!!
Thanks Maya!

Preview of what is to Come

First of all, can I start off by saying I LOVE “Ice Hotels” and I can’t wait to party with you guys at the end of this month!
Check out their myspace!
Ben Fox, Joel Clifton, Branko Scekic, Dave Wickland and Lucas Fredette make up one of Toronto’s hottest Indie Rock bands; Dinosaur Bones. This year the band that’s on the tip of everyone’s tongue is releasing their 7-inch-vinyl, featuring highly anticipated material! On February 2nd the release of Dinosaur Bones’ 7 inch on Toronto/New York upstart vinyla label Hi Scores Recording Library. It will be digitally available worldwide as well as off-stage.
ps: The 7-inch will feature “Ice Hotels” and “Royalty” which they recorded with Jon Drew (The Arkells, Fucked Up, Tokyo Police Club).
Fans can pre-order the limited edition record now here!
You just HAVE to check out this video!

Starting the year off right, the band has a slew of North American tour dates, and will be celebrating the release of their 7-inch right here in Toronto at the Steamwhistle Roundhouse on March 5th.
Their live show is a memorable display of uninhibited talent; the type of musical complexity rarely witnessed in a band this early in their young and rising career.

fyi: Dinosaur Bones recently entered the studio with producer Jon Drew (Fucked Up, Tokyo Police Club, the Arkells) to lay down the foundation for their long-anticipated debut LP.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas Rainbow Wings 2010

I saw these in the Feb ELLE magazine and nearly fell out of my chair.

I rarely post about sneakers but this one has my name written all over it. I can see myself jumping from clouds to unicorns in these.

I MUST have these. I’m a 4 aka ladies 6.

*faints*

Or if you can’t me those, I could settle for these.
