    Skin Shield

Winter means dry skin and I love feeling moisturized but not sticky icky. I like to moisturize right out of a hot shower but I hate how lotion sticks to leggings and tights and even jeans. I recently received a bottle to SkinMD from the amazing PR people over there to test out this product. My favorite thing about it is that it absorbs in 30 seconds and really creates a ‘shield’ for your skin.  I love beauty products and though this one is not marketed that way, it truly works! I am a fan of high performance products and you should definitely try this one if you are looking for something fast absorbing and liquid.

The visocity is thin and liquidy – I would say it’s more runny than a primer but thicker than a serum.

Not even 15 seconds later, my skin is ‘shield’ed! ^_^  (Jacob cameo)

I looked on the list of ingredients and I think this is will be one more my staples in my skin care routine. There are no baddies in there such as parabens, fragrance or animal products – overall I like it! If you want check out their site and see what they are all about. When my sister comes to visit next week from Edmonton, I will get her to try it. She is extremely picky when it comes to lotions because she likes her skin to be not greasy at all! I think she will like it.
I have been looking for a face cream FOREVER.

    Dessert on your Face

Cake on your face is only fun when your makeup isn’t ruin but.. dessert on your face and body seems to be the business these days. Have you heard of CAKE? This line is Canadian. They have collaborated with Barbie and Cake has all sorts of scrumptious scents for body products and makeup.

Then i saw this Open Sundae‘s line. It’s hand made and Canadian too! I love the packaging and the concept. I think these are the best presents you can buy someone for birthdays and housewarming!
Then I saw this Dylan’s Candy shop stuff. I first smelled this in the Sephora at Hollywood and Highland. I like it for the first 10 seconds then it was just too sickly sweet.
Then of course there is Philosophy with their dessert scented bath products. I don’t mind these because they wash off. But, i never feel truly clean when im scrubbed with ‘cake’.

What do you think? Do you like dessert smelling body products?
