    Afternoon of Sensorial Indulgence

The afternoon is all about chocolate, martinis, massages and indulgence.
Decadent and unique recipes have been created by Canadian culinary experts using the Italian chocolate bar Kinder Bueno – a bar that encourages women to throw the 100-calorie bars out the door and indulge in chocolate in all its glory.

Sensorial taste expert Amy Snider will be leading the women at the event through a blindfolded taste test, highlighting what it is that makes women love chocolate oh so much.

Come and try the Bueno-tini with your friends:
    Oct 4 – Circa
    Oct 10, 11 – Ultra Supper Club
    Oct 17, 18 – Brant House

Sexy Rock n Roll + Christian Audigier

Christian Audigier was born in southern France in the city of Avignon. From the beginning, he was drawn to the rock and roll style. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of Mick Jagger, but lacked the singing voice. Christian then moved into fashion, building the impressive portfolio you see today

Ultra Supper Club cleared the tables and put in a runway for Christian Audigier‘s glitterly LA Rocker Glam. The show was amazing, the models had tons of attitude and the classic rock music made feet dance and blood pump! In the sea of satin and platinum blondes, I was able to find a few fashionistas with true style and rhythm of their own!

Details matter! Not everyone will notice – but the few that do, are truly impressed, inspired and loving it!

    21 – Card Counting Cuties

If you are looking for something to watch at the cinema, check out 21 – the new movie about MIT students counting cards in Vegas and making some serious coin. I got the chance to go to the advance screening last night from the good people over at Sony BMG.

Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Spacey, Aaron Yoo, Liza Lapira, Jacob Pitts.

My favourite part of the movie was the geek to chic transformation, sort of like Lainey Boggs style. It was really interesting to see the character developments but I thought the movie was too episodic and plot driven – I would have liked to see more depth in the emotional parts. Anyway! Parts of it felt long but its a good because it is actually based on a true story! It’s in theaters March 28 – bring down the house! Find the plot from www.tribute.ca

The novel Bringing Down the House and its film counterpart 21 focuses on the 1993 resurgence of the team, when Kaplan, J.P. Massar and John Chang decided to open up a new partnership named Strategic Investments. Garnishing an initial investment of over $1 million, the largest to date, they set off for Las Vegas. Although they won millions of dollars, the team eventually had to disband after being identified by the casinos as card counters and banned.
