    Spinning into Fitness: Cyclebar Henderson

    I got to check out the new spin class at Cyclebar Henderson this week in Green Valley! I never been to that part of Vegas so it was a really fun treat! The neighborhood is pretty cool and ‘city like’ unlike the rest of Vegas and there were a lot of great restaurants, shopping and places to walk around.  At the media preview of Cyclebar, we were given a chance to check out their class!
    Media guests were treated to fresh squeezed juices, sandwiches and a tour of the place. Cyclebar has a store in the front and offers leggings, tanks, sports bras too!  They have hair ties, bobby pins, gum and lip balm for free 🙂
    The clip in cycle shoes allow you to ‘clip’ to the bike pedals and just fly! When you spin, it’s different than riding a bike, you literally just spin and spin and spin. I got the shoes in size 5.5 and my regular shoe size is 6. My friend Zuly, who rides a lot, said you can get a bigger size in case your foot swells during the ride.

    Unlimited Free Rides at CycleBar Henderson

    CycleBar Henderson will hold a CycleBlast to celebrate the grand opening by offering 50 free classes over 10 days. From Feb. 23 through March 4, new and experienced riders interested in CycleBar can register to take as many classes as they wish during the CycleBlast.     The multisensory tiered CycleTheatre™ features 48 custom bikes, LED lighting, wide-screen graphics, and advanced audio  technology with a DJ booth. CycleBar provides complimentary premium amenities at every visit including a water bottle, towels and cycling shoes.

     

    CycleStar™ instructors lead participants through a 50-minute high energy, dynamic ride, motivating them to achieve their personal best, regardless of skill level. After class, riders cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, while aromatherapy throughout the facility helps guests relax. Riders can also track personal performance data and download the playlist used for free after each session.

     

    CycleBar Henderson owners Gregorio and Maria Serrata are 10-year Las Vegas residents who find time to pursue their fitness goals even while raising their four young children. Maria has finished multiple marathons and was inspired to complete her first triathlon after taking a cycle class. She recently completed a rigorous CycleStar bootcamp and will be teaching at the new location. Gregorio’s passion for fitness began with a dream to compete on “American Ninja Warrior.” While training, he found he was lacking in his cardio skills and discovered his love of  indoor cycling, which helped him achieve his dream last year.
