Dertbag, Shay Kawaii, H33M & Chicago Playground Showcase FW’18 Streetwear Looks at Cipriani During New York Fashion Week

This past month at Cipriani, Dertbag, Shay Kawaii, H33M and Chicago Playground showcased their FW’18 collections during Style Fashion Week New York. While Style Fashion Week has been known for supporting established, emerging and international designers since their beginnings in 2011—this season during New York Fashion Week, they partnered with Papertrail Magazine in effort to support the increasingly popular streetwear culture. These young brands and designers, often the inspiration behind luxury giants, rarely make their way to the New York Fashion Week runway—operating under tight margins without corporate budgets to produce major runway shows.

Style Fashion Week helps to share the cost of these major productions—providing designers the platform to display their work on the same level as their luxury competitors.

Style Fashion Week recognizes that these designers are a vital piece of the fashion community and will continue to work to support them.

“MY ‘PERFECT TEXTURE TAKES TIME’ HAIR” FROM CREATURES OF COMFORT

“The key to this look is putting in The Work with your natural hair texture. Using the mousse and hairspray will help to achieve an almost sweaty, dirty hairstyle, as if you are coming off of the beach or from a safari” –Justine Marjan, TRESemmé Global Stylist

Step 1: Start by washing hair with TRESemmé Repair & Protect 7 Shampoo and Conditioner to protect hair against breakage.

Step 2: Using natural hair, apply a heavy amount of theTRESemmé TRES Two Mousse to rough, dry hair. Rake mousse through hair and fold ends of hair outwards.

Step 3: Spray TRESemmé TRES Two Hair Spray all over hair for added hold to last from the catwalk to the sidewalk.

LULU was invited to do LIVE SKETCHES at Taoray Wang’s Fashion Show at NYFW

Lulu was invited to do the fashion live sketches

at Taoray Taoray NYFW fashion presentation

by Chinese designer Wang Tao.

In a perfect world, “change” has no place. However, we live in a world embroiled with differences and contradictions, making “change” central to our very being.

One could try to force opposites into uniformity, but, there is an alternative: to accept our differences and blend them homogenously. One person who believes in this principle, lives and breathes it and applies it to her work is Wang Tao.

With her diverse background spanning rich and global heritage from three continents, Wang Tao is a melting pot of contrasts into harmony.
