Not All About The Women: NYFW – Darkoh SS15 @darkohmenswear
Around this time of year all eyes are usually focused on women’s fashion but Darkoh is one of the few gems of a show to highlight the gravity of menswear. This season “the brand will introduce a smart and trendy ready-to-wear suit line made out of the finest natural cloth, for the young generation of active men,” Darkoh states.
On Monday, September 8th at the Loft Studio 450 she proved to do just that. Ruling over a male-dominated branch of designers and tailors Joyce Darkoh has shown the power of this young brand. From the incredible color range of powder pink to sodium white and the blatant display of exquisite craftsmanship in each suit this line has me convinced that Darkoh has it going on.

@ObeyClothing Fall/Winter 2014 Preview
Up until recently I’ve always thought that Obey Clothing was just menswear, and was pleasantly surprised when I attended the Obey Fall/Winter 2014 Media Preview and found that they have an extensive offering of womenswear. If it hadn’t been for my phone dying right when I got to the event, I would have flooded the world of social media with loads of Instagram pics and tweets of all the awesome pieces that were on display! Floral jackets and duffle bags, the softest (and cutest) tees and crop tops, printed shift dresses and drop crotch pants and of course classic Obey hoodies, crew necks, and accessories. I even found myself lusting after several pieces in the mens collection!

Oh so dapper! @Indochino #TravelingTailor Launch Party #SuitUpTDOT
We attended the Indochino Traveling Tailor launch event last week, and it was an evening of pure (not to mention dapper) elegance! The men were suited all the way up and the women looked beautiful. We enjoyed wine and delicious hors d’oeuvres while the men received special one-on-one attention and got measured for their custom suits by the tailor’s on-site. It was a wonderful evening, and everyone was having a great time.

Event LOVE: @Piloti FW14 Media Preview
We all gathered at The Shore Club for a private trunk show to view the new Piloti Fall/Winter 2014 Collection. I didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the style and design of their performance, luxury and casual pieces; and although the collection is for men, I couldn’t help myself from lusting over some of the pieces…
