5 Beauty Products To Try This Summer
Summer is basically here! It is time to pull out your shorts and your sunscreen. As fun as the sun may be, I know a thing or two about how bad makeup can be in the summer. I worked in the direct heat for over 5 summers and as a makeup enthusiast, I had to learn how to not look like a melting cake every day.
Foundation: My favorite summer foundation is It Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50+. This is a personal must have for the summer. I originally tried it over spring break this year and I loved how it stayed on all day and didn’t look cakey in the sun. It is a Full Coverage Color Correcting Cream, Anti-Aging serum, plus Broad Spectrum Physical Only SPF 50+ all in one!
Mascara: Maybelline New York Great Lash Waterproof Mascara. This Mascara works wonders and it is only $6 at your local pharmacy or Target/Walmart. This is one product that has stood the test of time.

BeautyCon NYC
As a makeup enthusiast, attending BeautyCon this past Saturday was a dream come true! BeautyCon brings together some of the biggest names in Youtube, Instagram, etc. They are the world’s premiere fashion, beauty, wellbeing & lifestyle destination for fans, brands, and content creators. Held at Pier 36, this year’s BeautyCon hosted big online names like Bethany Mota, Julia Kelly, Lo Bosworth, Jay Manuel, and a special performance from my personal favorite Jojo!
My favorite booth this year was essie where the offered complimentary manicures and a giveaway for their entire fall collection! They also offered tutorials for achieving awesome designs and showing off more of your creative side. Safe to say I finally learned how to paint my own nails(check photo below for proof)!
