    Event LOVE: Dirty Car Exhibit

I went to the Dirty Car Exhibit at Edition/Richmond gallery and was totally blown away. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I LOVED what I saw. The gallery was transformed into a unique single-day art exhibit, and we got to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while admiring the unique artwork of world-renowned ‘dirty car artist’ Scott Wade.

…Possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen 🙂

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen a dirty car look so good!

    Thanks for inviting me 🙂

I spent the weekend at the Interior Design Show 2012, and “oohed”, “aahed” and even drooled over all the amazing pieces. Then came home, and as usual I was mad at my apartment, for not being even half as sexy as some of the displays I had seen at the show… nevertheless, the show was AWESOME.

    Some info about LINE

“Combining their distinct confidence in style and appreciation for simplicity, long-time friends John Muscat and Jennifer Wells recognized the need to revolutionize the face of knitwear in hopes to produce quality knits that accommodate both practicality and style. A timeless staple for any woman, Line exudes feminine class and luxury while identifying the need for comfort and ease. Created in 2000, Line was one of the first knitwear collections to push design possibilities to the max through draping, embellishment and exaggerated detailing. Muscat and Wells saw such an impressive reaction to Lines’ first season, the two began to obtain, their once visualized, lifestyle collection consisting of pieces that are both comfortable and trend setting. Composed of oversized sweaters, the infamous wrap cardigan and basic layering tanks, the innovative collection is exactly what the knitwear market was missing. The strategy of using premium fabrications fused with soft silhouettes has progressed Line into the novelty brand that it is today. Featured in publications such as Lucky, InStyle and Flare, Line has gained international exposure as well as a celebrity fan base including Jennifer Garner, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Biel and Taylor Swift.”

    Good luck!

    DressToKill Spring Edition

    “GetKill” here!

I…had…SO…much…FUN at the Dress To Kill Spring Issue release party on Monday at Briscola Trattoria here in Toronto. The room was filled with sooo many people. Everyone looked wonderful, there was lots of laughing, chatting, hugs, kisses, GOOD food, aaahhh it was GREAT. Before I go on, I must say this… Dear Toronto. You are beautiful, and your style? Oh man.

I need this piece. Yes. Need. She (Naanafya- CEO of Hard Candi Jewellery) made both the piece she’s wearing, and the one he’s wearing as well.

    Brianna- Dress To Kill Magazine

And she made this piece. I see you tryna be all up in my frame blue eyes 😉

So nice seeing you again Chrissy (Founder of Vocab Comm.) and nice meeting you Tony!

All black everything. I love the hint of red, Nikki 🙂

    Owwww!

Wherever the colour red dwells, my camera will go.

We took the picture, he looks at it, then frowns before saying, “ooooooo noooooo” lol I hope you had an AWESOME birthday Karim! mwah

The Chef was serving up some good food all night long, and it was PACKED in there! I tip my hat off too you sir.

We had an interesting conversation about internet relationships… and not the ones you’re thinking about 😉

Shiny! I got a close up of her nails in the next post.

I didn’t want to put the pictures in a slide show, as everyone was so patient while I gently shimmied people out of the way to take the pic. Ha ha ha, I was very gentle. So up next, Dress To Kill Spring Edition part two!

Thank you to the Dress To Kill team for inviting us out, I had a really good time.

To Duane’s friend who hooked me up with some good eats, you’re awesome! good looking out girl 🙂

As always it was nice to reconnect with some familiar Toronto peeps, and always a pleasure meeting new ones 🙂
