On Monday night, myself and lots of other ladies went over to Atelier Cafe Lounge on King Street West, for the DivaGirl Fitness La Tease event. The ladies let their inner vixens all the way out, drinking, shopping, getting their sexy on the DivaGirl dance workshop, it’s safe to say that everyone had a good time. The ladies from the Chic-A-Boom-Room gave a sexy performance, Ohhh Canada was there to give us some tips on how to make our love lives more exciting, and Christine Hart also gave us tips on how to flirt!

Enter Nailah Lymus—Fashion Designer of Amirah Creations and Muslim Female Visionary. On Saturday night, Miss Lymus launched UnderWraps, a Muslim modeling agency that bridges the gap between modesty and fashion.
UnderWraps is the FIRST global agency representing the Muslim Female Fashion Model. Muslim Fashion has had an influence in the industry for years—with stylings gracing the covers of magazines such as Vogue; to recent model success Hanaa Ben Adbesslem (Tunisian) and Hindi Sahlial (Moroccan) who bring diversity to the catwalk. Islam has also provided inspiration for designers including Victoria Beckham (Fall/Winter 2012 Collection).
The launch party, held at RARE Salon NYC in TriBeCa, featured models covered modestly from head to toe, with a stylistic twist. The fashion included styles by Amirah Creations, Headwraps by YasmineYasmine, Makeup by Chocolate.

Last Wednesday Hyden Yoo had his fall 2012 Presentation. If you were lucky enough to be at The Hudson Library at 3pm you were able to catch a glimpse of his stylish collection.
Yoo “draws inspiration from a classic tale of the unattainable woman and the man that pines for her.” A New York based fashion designer that offers looks for both men and women, Yoo has taken his style to a new kind of modern.
He takes the look of both Wall Street bankers and Brooklyn hipsters to create one final dramatic piece.
