DC’s Local Open Secret

I absolutely, ridiculously, LOVE seafood! What about you? If your answer is the same as mine, then I would say ‘come on over to Washington, DC!’ There’s a wonderful water view fish market that would keep you on your toes (literally) once you get there. Get there early for the freshest seafood and an absolute must is of course their crabs (DC’s also known for its blue crabs). You can see lines of customers with their barrels of crabs, which are the cheapest yet(!), waiting to get them crabs all steamed up and ready to start their chomping ! Want something other than crabs? There’s also steamed shrimp with spices, fresh oysters, fried fish, calamari, crawfishes, lobsters and plenty more! Thirsty? Try their freshly made strawberry lemonades! So come on over to our DC’s Fish Wharf or Fish Market, pick out some fresh seafood, steam them right there and eat them right along the Potomac River..enjoy…!

One advice though, try to go on a weekday or have an early dinner on the weekends so you can avoid those massive 1 hour waiting lines, just to have your seafood steamed -_-
