New Reebok Classic x Melody Ehsani Pump Omni Lite

Over the last year, LA based jewelry designer Melody Ehsani (http://melodyehsani.com/) has been inspired by functional architecture and spaces, and took influence from galleries, hotels and museums to experiment with layering multiple patterns in her work. As this is Melody’s second Pump Omni Lite release this year, the designer wanted the Holiday collection to look related yet distinctively different.

The full-grain leather upper is executed in a black & white python print, continuing with the reptile motif of Melody’s Valentine’s Day release; however the eye-catching base is revamped for Holiday with confetti-style pops of primary and pastel colors.

The bold “Love” lace jewel takes on a muted grey color this season to match the outsole, lining and Pump ball. As with her previous releases, Melody hides an inspirational message within the lining of the shoe. “…CHOOSE TO CREATE YOUR PATH, UNAPOLOGETICALLY. ANYBODY CAN IMITATE – YOU WERE DESIGNED TO CREATE…”

For the Bitty: Little Dream Bird Stroller Cover

Little Dream Bird, a new collection of functional stroller and carseat covers in a range of designs and prints (littledreambird.com). The lightweight and heavyweight fabric covers not only help little ones to sleep, but also shield out harsh elements.
    ABOUT LITTLE DREAM BIRD
Launched this month, Barb McKenzie (and mother of two) designed the line after struggling to find car seat and stroller covers that felt luxurious yet functional. The covers come in quilted white, nautical, striped, paisley and embellished prints in heavy weight fabrics to shield your little one from harsh elements and cool weather, and lighter weight fabrics for warmer climate so you baby can rest in shade. Not one to compromise fashion for function, Little Dream Bird items use a number of smart mommy-tested practical features such as black out fabrics to block sun, water resistant materials to avoid messes, zippered pockets for storage, and reflective trims for enhanced visibility.  The price point ranges from $65 -$115 and can be purchased on the brand’s e-shop (www.littledreambird.com).
