Skinny Sweats designer Adrienne Butikofer had a brand of contemporary women’s wear before she started Skinny Sweats. She was a TFI New Labels finalist in 2008 with her eponymous label. Ready-to-wear label Masha was established in 2012 with a mission to provide women with a luxurious, elegant, yet slightly avant-garde look. Each piece in the collection is meant to demonstrate the beauty of the human form. The evening wear line debut took place at Arts & Fashion Week in Toronto to highly positive reviews and was named one of the Top Five Designers to Watch by FASHION Magazine and Top 10 Designerby BlogTO. Masha has been featured in a number of magazine specifically on the cover of the summer edition of GLASSbook, and in Chloe Magazine worn by MuchMusic’s Liz Trinnear. Her celebrity clientele include Lauren Lee Smith, Fefe Dobson, Amanda Grace Cooper.
