    Piranha Sushi

    Ayooooooo!!!!

Have you ever watched ‘The Food Network’ or any other Food motivated network and they feature restaurants that are a local favorite? But when they interview the locals about that particular restaurant, the locals always over-do it by saying that particular Restaurant is the best in the world, when infact some of the locals have never even been anywhere outside the U.S :).

Wellll im that guy, i am goin to over-do it and say Piranha Sushi in Austin is the BEST sushi in the world!! 🙂 :). What’s funny about my statement, is that the only international place i have visited has been Saskatchewan Canada :).

What’s even better is they have  a sign in the form of an actual Piranha out front 🙂

The best roll i EVER had was their Pirahna Roll with shrimp that has slices of Jalepeno on top of it. Im not a fan of Sake, but compliment this with an adult Orange Juice beverage 😉

Its no secret that i love food, i’ve always said to my friends here in Austin that if there was NO fast food chain restaurants here, there would still be a wide variety of different and fun foods….LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!! I don’t know where YOU get your crab cakes from BUUT, Piranha’s crab cakes are on ANOTHER LEVEL!!!

Why you ask? One ,they come on the Happy Hour menu, which means they will be very inexpensive. Secondly, they dress it up so well with a fresh mango and pineapple salsa, with a drizzle of  Wasabi and Sweet Spicy sauce. The crab cakes also don’t come with that fishy taste that most seafood dishes may have.

Don’t be scurrred, get ya Piranha Killer Sushi today!!!!

Our participating musicians have each signed a guitar pick and hand-written a note on where they last used the pick. These along with a photograph of him/herself have been placed in custom frames. Ben Sherman will host an in-store exhibition on the 17th of May at Ben Sherman Soho, 96 Spring Street, from 7 to 9 pm to create awareness for the initiative. This is open to the public. The memorabilia will auction off on ebay starting on May 29th with all proceeds going to Lifebeat.

On May 18th, NYC lumieres will gather at a star-studded concert at the Gramercy Theatre. Guests will enjoy performances by the original American MC of Brooklyn, Talib Kweli, UK band Graffiti6 who was selected by MTV (you guys) as an artist to watch in 2011.  Rounding out the evening are DJ sets by Josh Madden and DJ DL. The evening will be hosted by comedian John Roberts, known as Linda on Bob’s Burgers. A menu of delightfully sinful drinks will be served to those 21-and-over.

    Kleancolor Nail Polish Review

(Mocha by Kleancolor… SO OBSESSED WITH THIS COLOR!!)

Recently my housekeeper decided to throw away my entire bag of nail polishes. Polishes i’ve collected over the years. Polishes I love. Polishes i’ve spent lots of money and time collecting. Anyways, now I’m starting from scratch and filling my nail polish duffle bag once more. I was shopping at a local clothing store and I knew I needed a new color so I chose one from the nail polish rack at the cashier. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! All the polishes were Kleancolor polishes. I chose a color called Mocha which was a light brown with a hint of baby pink. For a $2 bottle of nail polish, the consistency was pretty smooth and the brush was way better than most of the cheap polishes I’ve tried before. The thing I love most about this polish was that it dried so fast. I have the tendency to wait til night time (an hour or so before I go to bed) to do my nails. I can almost always guarantee my nails aren’t perfect when I wake up in the morning if I don’t sleep with my hands placed nicely over my covers. This polish dried super quick even with the three coats I put on. I put on two coats of clear on top and my nails looked absolutely perfect! For someone that used to be a nail polish brand snob, this is a great one. Since I’m building my nail polish collection from scratch I can afford to save a few bucks a bottle too 🙂

    xo, June 🙂
