A great turn out and a slew of interesting  people. Here are some of my favs.

But where has that really gotten us? Stuck with a bunch of mediocre conclusions drafted up during our girl talk (and male bashing) time with well, the girls. Still, if you’re asking the question what would a man do—and looking for an edifying answer—it’s only right you ask the male species directly.Introducing our new show: WWMD: What Would a Man Do? Every episode, WWMD features an eligible guy who swears to share the truth and nothing but about what he and the general testosterone flooded community would do, say, think or feel in various circumstances. We don’t just stop at one guy. Each installment also includes a collection of real men, nationwide, giving their frank input on multiple topics. And just in case there’s some attempted swindling, the host of WWMD – Chazeen and her panel: Guerdley, NK and Tracy are there to call out the BS, throw in their twenty cents and keep the banter in check.We’re your ticket to the inside of the male mind. Four 20-something year old women, just like you, on a mission for answers. What’s our goal? To climb up the gender role ladder in order to meet these dudes face-to-face, find a better balance in our dating lives and finally nix that crazy fervor aforementioned up top. The MakeUp Show LA 2011

Last weekend I got to attend the Makeup Show in LA. It was a jam-packed weekend with lots of great vendors and some amazing presenters. Friday night was a bloggers exclusive event where we got to hear about all the latest products from some of the best or up and coming brands. Being a Beauty student, you can only imagine how much fun it was! Here are some of my favorites from the show!This is from BeautySoClean, a makeup sanitizing product! So great!
I really loved the lipglosses from Senna Cosmetics! They had some really great lipliners too.
BLOGGER EXCLUSIVE!! And my favorite part was getting to see  the debut of Make Up For Ever’s new Uplight. It’s a really pretty new highlight cream. It’s gorgeous! I can’t wait til its out for the public!
I’ll be posting lots about the different products I got at Makeup Show LA Â but I just had to show you guys the few that I loved. Last one!
Lise Watier’s new foundation! Comes in the squeeze bottle with concealer and mirror in the lid. Love it!
Well i’ll be posting lots more of my great finds at the Makeup Show LA this year. Can’t wait until next years! 🙂

Lupe Fiasco
Lupe threw a free concert in Williamsburg Brooklyn last night and the line ups wrapped the block twice.  The Music Hall aka the WalMart Soundcheck was the perfect mixture of art deco and serious rock and roll. Met up with some friends from home, some friends from NY and had a great time.  The energy in the crowd was crazy and we really rocked out 🙂  As usual, there are always a few in the beautiful dynamic crowd who are cute, clever and now…. connected!

Wish I was going to the Hope Rising! benefit concert… are you going?
What? Hope Rising! Benefit Concert: The concert supports the Stephen Lewis Foundation and honours the grassroots African communities who are on the front line of the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Who? International recording artists like Alicia Keys, Angélique Kidjo, Rufus Wainwright, and Holly Cole will headline this spectacular evening co-hosted by Jian Ghomeshi, Marci Ien, and Gloria Reuben.
