    Brother Sharp

One of the best stories I heard about how social media changes lives is about Brother Sharp. Kinda like the Golden Voice guy. But this is a handsome, stylish, trendy… Homeless man in China. Nice.

Talk about BoHo Chic… Or Beggar Swagg! He is a real tramp. All of his clothes are from things found in dumpsters, both women and men’s clothing. He gives thrifting and style a whole new meaning.

So amazing right? Hers’s the story:

Last year, 34-year-old Cheng Guorong spent his days scouring the streets of the Ningbo in east China for food and rummaging through rubbish for discarded plastic bottles and cigarette butts.
With a scraggly beard and long tousled hair, he used bright scraps of fabric as a belt and wore a grubby sheepskin-lined overcoat over a faux leather jacket. But Mr Cheng’s life changed dramatically after an amateur photographer posted pictures of him walking the streets onto the Chinese internet. His prominent cheekbones and bohemian clothes quickly won him a legion of fans who called him “China’s Sexiest Tramp” and, most often, “Brother Sharp”.
“Damn, that is one handsome guy. Look at how he wrinkles his brow. Nothing needs to be said. Very sexy,” wrote one of the tens of thousands of his fans on Tianya, a Chinese internet forum.

    Scarf over Coat Look

One of my favorite things about living in New York City is all the people. Random strangers will ask for directions, but mostly people are not talking to one another. Even without speaking, there is most definitely a conversation going on – the conversation of style.  We had 2 warm days this week but the cold snap came back like a badass chick with an attitude. Brr.

Here is the look that I have noticed a lot in Manhanttan – mostly on women but you never know in NY.  I have always put on my scarf first, and then my coat – Scarf tucked in. Like this:

But lately, I see a lot of people wear their scarves OVER their coats.

I love scarves and this trend. What do you think?

DJ Quickdraw from “Get Right Kids” Interview…#ItsMyCup

While there be many DJs in Austin, there are few DJ groups in Austin,TX that feature 4 true turntabilist. Recently i took time to interview Randy Mcgraw aka DJ Quickdraw who is apart of the Get Right Kids to get his insight on what they are about.

Craig Allen: How did the group Get Right Kids form?

DJ QD: DJ Kid Slyce (Kellen Chumley) lived below me and heard me scratchn upstairs and he came up and knocked on my door and we went from there. When we lived together we opened up for well known music artist as well as DJing other events in town. We just went from there…

Craig Allen: How does fashion influence your style of DJing?

DJ QD: I like to be G’d up from the feet up, my watch matching my shirt and sneakers. Lookn professional is a good way to appeal to the masses, especially my crowd.

Craig Allen: What has been the response from your latest mixtape “Its my cup”

DJ QD: Already 50 plus downloads, its in a good place and has gotten really good reviews from other DJs.

Craig Allen: What separates you from other DJs?

DJ QD: I play more underground music with true Hip Hop tendencies.  Each member of the Get Right Kids (DJ Kid Slyce, DJ FNDOMNTL, DJ Quickdraw, Rose Budd) consider themselves turntablist.

Craig Allen: Best way to get Get Right Kids music?
