So Glossy- Y.K lippies
You may have bared witness to my excitement upon receiving my Yvonne Kai Lipgloss samples. When she asked me which colors I wanted to try, I knew it was a trick question; cause I had to have them all!
I’m a sucker for red, so naturally I tried the “Ain’t No Wifey” Lippie first.
The color looks great. Give it a good shake and it goes on nice and easy. No yucky fragrance, stickiness or taste… Did I mention it’s paraben free??
What do you think?
For more details on how you can get your hands on an Yvonne Kai Lippie contact me, or Yvonne of course 🙂
Well done Ms. Kai!
peace, love and health

Flaming Ice Cream
Last week miss @bodynoise and I went to Cafetasia for some pad thai and boy time.
Hers was exceptionally excited to visit NYC and a medley of Japanese x Scottish x Trini. Mine was falling asleep. Seriously, he was. Â But alas…dessert came and all is well.It is amazing and this is what it looks like.
So basically they take a ball of ice cream, dip it in batter, fry it, pour alcohol on it and then douse it in flames. So awesome. It’s the best $5 you will ever spend.

Social Media and Social Styling: Can The Next Rachel Zoe Be Found Online?, Hosted by Hearst
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Hosted at the Art & Culture Hub at Hearst
First stop, Columbus Circle! Today was the first day of Social Media Week New York.
The first thing you do is press 44 at the Hearst elevator… Then they tell you which one to go up. K it is!
up up we go and the view is spectacular!
Automatic blinds and windows… Cool
The biggest takeaway – Unless stores figure out a way to make money while they are closed, they will not be able to compete with what’s happening online and in the social space.
Luxury brands like Tom Ford, Hermes and Burberry are careful in the social space – Do they really want to democratize their brand?
Anyone with a genuine voice will find an audience. Keep on… See you this week!
PS: This is what I wore…
