    DITC is a socially driven and goal-directed event that will feature seven experts in areas that are essential to an urban woman’s lifestyle:

    Oh and it’s going to be tons of FUN too!
    So what exactly is DITC? Well it’s the brainchild of DivaGirl Inc owner, Laura Furtado and Nikki Bergen, owner of Grace Corp Studio.

    Laura and Nikki met back in 2008 at various dance and women networking events and the rest as they say is history! They clicked right away and after what was said to be a challenging turn of events in both their lives, they became roommates! I know, I know let’s say it together Aaaawwww J

    After many late night chats, they came to a conclusion that the events they often attended were MISSING something… this is how the idea for DITC came about.
    DITC is about loving YOU or as Nikki and Laura would say “self-love”; these ladies believe Toronto needs a forum for all the fabulous females in our city- the movers and shakers who make no excuses for who they are. AND WE AGREE

    26th ANNUAL CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL EVENT:
    Over two decades of tribute to the fruit that wears its seeds on the outside. The 26th Annual CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL gets underway at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard May 16 and 17, 2009 10:00a.m. – 6:30p.m. Presented by the all-volunteer California Strawberry Festival Executive Board, the nationally top-ranked celebration serves up a menu of delectable strawberry delights, along with non-stop entertainment, Strawberryland For Kids, gooey contests for berry lovers of all ages, award-winning Fine Arts & Crafts, the Strawberry Promenade, and more. The tasty tribute to the luscious fruit garnered from the County’s bountiful 11,538 berry acres nets proceeds to benefit close to 30 local non-profit organizations while
    scholarships help to brighten futures.

    No other fruit seems to encourage gluttony like the strawberry – especially in America, where hot weather limits the season to early summer. The California Strawberry Festival in Oxnard, near Los Angeles, lets you eat your fill early and often!
    Vendors offer every conceivable strawberry concoction – kebabs, strawberry cotton candy (floss) and strawmonade as well as the more traditional strawberry desserts. If that doesn’t satisfy the kiddies, enter them in the strawberry-shortcake-scarfing contest, or have a go yourself in the strawberry-tart-hurling competition.
