Axolotl
I want one. They are so damn cool. These guys are actually Mexican salamanders that failed to go through metamorphosis and the adults remain aquatic and gilled. Not to be mean or anything, but I know of a few people just like this. Ahem, Boomerang kids.
Axolotls exhibit a property called neoteny, meaning that they reach sexual maturity without undergoing full metamorphosis into adults. Um, sad to say, I know a LOT of people who fall under this category too. But not as cute of course.
PS: cute face and cold blooded, amazingand someone thought it would be a good idea to dress up as them. WTF

Solange’s New ‘Do
Sooo… I have heard opinions differentiate across the map with regards to Solange Knowles new diva-stated, I (for one) LOVE it and think it’s been long over due! People constantly compare Solange to her (Obviously) gorgeous older sister, Beyonce, because of their similar appearances. Bodies, skin tones, fashion sense, singing style, hair styles… they were often similar in many ways… until now! Solange took it a-la-Amber and is working the $%^# out of a bald fade! I remember about 5 years ago, I returned to Canada from a trip home (to England) with one side of my head shaved bald & decorative detailing, all the dudes and some gals in London were going crazy on that tip… in Canada PEOPLE TRIPPPPPED! But, within the year I saw it more and more and the next thing I knew the look was taken by storm and I was searching for something new! While I’m not, by any means, claiming to have originated a specific look; I am saying that I LOOOOVE it when fellow women have the confidence to WORK IT, outside of the box! Rep it ladies, explore, expand and do ur thang! I for one, LOVE it!

"Screw-face" Capital on Blast!!
Colder Than Most People From Toronto
So A LOT of Torontonians are salty, after hearing about and seeing the new billboard campaign in British Columbia for Coors Light. Being someone that moved from the U.S. to Toronto, I can’t help but feel that this ad has some truth to it… Not that ALL people from Toronto are “cold” as it is unfair to generalize, but you know, I’ve seen/heard many Torontonians “big up” and praise the fact that their city is known as the “screw-face” capital, some people have even put it in their songs/raps, and now every one’s mad because someone used your very own joke on you?The billboard has since been pulled due to the large negative response… so sensitive people, but I get it this is your city, you rep your city, so it’s only right to stand up for your city.
But maybe it’s time for a change Toronto? It’s different if one city calls you cold, but I’ve heard people from all over the world, EVEN Torontonians say that this is one of thee most unfriendly places anyone can live. So is it time to prove them wrong, or you just gonna “screw” up your faces?? I for one quite love it here 🙂xoxo

Wellies in my purse!!
So this summer’s been straight @%!#!!!, I mean it’s been a really crappy summer. First we have the ever-changing weather, then of course summer’s latest accessory: RAIN.On days when I wanna wear my cute fuscia metallic patent Fornarina pumps and have to settle for my black wellies because of this damn rain I wanna curse Canada.
